oh my god ron, you've got to be a troll. two posts up and survival butchers you for your poor grammer, and you butcher the sh#t out of the english language two posts later. please.
911 was a defining moment in this country's history. Everyone was on the band wagon, flags were flying high on every street corner, people were frothing at the mouth for revenge...and, here you go. the end results of revenge. A botched effort in afghanistan that should have been a screaming success 8 f*#king years ago, and an illegal invasion of sheer greed that should have never been started and the architects of which should have been hung been by their balls from the lincoln memorial.
bluering, please don't call me an as#@&%e or a pinko or a f*#ktard, ok? i like dogs too, as you know....and SEALs, lol.

good job ron..if the people on this website aren't worthy of your using spellcheck, then why post? why should someone have to decipher gibberish when it takes the simple click of a mouse to correct it? enlighten me, please. you sound pretty bitter about someone dying for 40,000 dollars. that sucks, but, dude, people die for this country for far less... how much does the average private in the USMC or Army make? I'll bet alot less than 40 g's a year. god forbid you come back with a limb, or limbs, gone. i'll bet some of those guys would like 40,000 a year for compensation, right?

which will have people like Ron and Blue arguing for days about good Christian Uhmerikuhn lives vs. poor Muslim lives.
No it'd be closer to, Americans welcoming peaceful Muslims (and others) to live amongst us VS. Muslims who consider every other religion inferior to themselves and a willingness to kill them as a result.
Which would be of more "value" to the global society?

Rocky,
Back in the 13th century? Is that before/during the time they burnt down the Alexandria library in Egypt because the books were unIslamic?
It means nothing, Rocky. They also got along with Jews/Christians for a long time. What happend? Do you know?
HINT: It inspired the Crusades.

Until the last couple decades anyway.
Well, that's where many blame us for instigating the muslims, but research the decades prior to that. The 2 World Wars. Research the Moorish invasion of Spain prior to that. They swept across N Africa 'occupying' and converting/enslaving people.
The were tolerant of southern Europeans for a while too (because the Berber army took over Spain). Even co-existed with Jews/Christians. For a while.
Wanna talk about conquerors and occupiers???

Now YOU are going to quote scripture to me??? Do you know the underlying meaning of that verse?
Or will you twist it somehow to suit your irreligious beliefs?

Muslim predation on Southern Europe continued episodically long after the crusades Wes.
You have the Failed attempt on Vienna in 1683 and the invasion of Crete in 1718 by Mehmed IV for the expressed purpose of expelling or exterminating all non Muslims from the Mediterranean. Muslim piracy and slavery continued until after the First Barbary war in 1805. (and still continues in Northern Africa)
There has never been tolerance from a Muslim overlord, ever.
Only Dihimi status and subjugation, even in pre-medieval Spain.
But there's nothing like a little self loathing to make you feel better so, go for it.
It's all our fault.
Isn't it.

But you ARE holding Muslims accountable for what others before them did or did not do? Wow blue... wow...
You're really reaching now, aren't ya? You're trying to connect dots to have me contradict myself, but you're not as intelligent as I thought you were.
I hold current Muslim extremists within their faith accountable for distorting their faith, right now...not along time ago. I wish more peaceful TRUE Muslims would be as vocal.
As for the reference to the 'old-school' Islam, that was trying to give Rocky some beta on the origins of the conflict between Judeo/Christianity and Islam. Back to the 7th century.
Do you see Christians espousing the Crusades or 'elimination' of Islam? I don't. There does seem to still be a sect of Islam that is on a growing march to take over new lands to spread Islam. Do I need to re-post the list of countries?
Sure, Christians do try to spread the word of God/Allah, but if you refuse, they don't kill you.

I'm sorry you were subjected to some sort of trauma that has produced a need to obsess over the failures of one religion or another.
The Koran, Indian literature, Japanese literature and art is all full of the same kind of horrors.
It's called being human.
Here's what some of those evil 'Merican Christians from fly over country are up to.

Again Wes, that's all you got? Old art?
You're trying to equate me with those beliefs and practices?
F*#king weak! Do Christians still do that, or did the religion undergo a reformation?
You're arguments are weak at best, if not false and distorted.
