The guy in the middle in the back lived in the same co-op as I did back in Berkeley. I seem to recall them doing a little gig right there in the co-op building.

Watched a bit of the CMA's day before yesterday..Pretty unexciting for me until i watched these two songs.. Chris Stapleton and Justin Timberlake blew everyone out of the water.

edit: ZB, Timid, dragged me to a Beat farmer show in Chico not long before Country Dick died. I was fascinated, entertained, and a little bit discomforted by the show... Wild man.. that Country Dick Montana...After the show was over,Country Dick Montana got in a brawl with some punk drunk college student and ended up going to the hospital... Pretty shocking when he died of a heart attack later that month...though he did look pretty haggard for 40.
