Record Stores Go The Way Of The Dinosaurs:
Budget Tapes&Records was where I first started buying music. Budget was located on Rio Grande Ave.,right next door to WeeTam. A whole lot of crazy sh#t went down on that block ;some of the action would trigger a chain of events that impacted the entire nation. Budget no longer exists,but her memory lives on.
Today I buy most of my music @Southwest Sound in Durango,great shop.The record store spirit lives on.
So ya have any record store history to share?

I used to go to Rasputins Records in Berkeley....miss that place. It's gone too. Dammit. Other than that, it was a vast mishmash of widely varied places.
