Jaysus Homan, what effing drugs are you on? Your above post made hardly any sense.

Could you retry and rewrite it so I can understand what you are trying to say? In simple words, some of us liberals are dumb.

Edit

And Homan, you have 21 posts and counting. It is nice to hear from such a new and refreshing viewpoint.

Homan is new to the Taco Stand. Many of you know me, know my views. Many of you have also read my self-deprecating posts (many pathetic) about being a failure (in my eyes) as a full-time carer. I have never pretended I am the bees-knees and perfect, like some have (Willis Wall guy), I just try to get along (I have certainly slung some BS in some posts, apologies, we live and we learn).

But it maddens, and saddens, me to see the state of America. Where is the consensus, the compromise, the tolerance, the understanding?

Heck, I leave the country and it goes to pot. Guess I should have stayed there, hah hah.

Best wishes to all. Matters will sort themselves out, they usually do. A pendulum.

Then I suggested trying a new outlook on a DEM candidate.

Tulsi Gabbard

But first clean House...and Senate leaders.

Then....wait for STools to rise from the sewers and their ensuing stupid comments.

Maybe even get a Twitter #vanlife# update from Happigirl...lol

By revolution I mean a Constitutional Reset to overrule the conservative SCOTUS and Congress to eliminate the Influence of money in politics

This is the root cause of all our problems at this time

Never would I endorse any kind of revolution other than to deal with our impending Constitutional crises by using the Rule of Law to repair our institutions

Good stuff for uncovering our own unconscious biases that most/all of us have in at least some area:

OK, we can "Lock him up" now

This is 100 times worse than Hillary's e-mail server that never got hacked

Trump is using an unsecured cell phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111116666666666

https://www.alternet.org/news-amp-politics/everybody-listening-tech-expert-explains-why-trumps-reported-unsecured-phone-use

A new report published Monday by Politico found that President Donald Trump's cell phone use may leave him vulnerable to hackers, potentially risking the spread of any sensitive information he communicates.

"This is insane," said Garrett Graff, director of the Aspen Institutes cybersecurity and technology program, on Twitter of the report. "This means everybody is listening."

According to the report, Trump's White House cell phone lacks the security features that would protect his communications. He uses two cell phones, one for tweeting and one for calling people, but he reportedly doesn't follow the recommended practice of changing out the phones every month, as is advised for the president.

A Convention of the States? Take a look at the map, young partisan. The only way that's gonna happen is if the red states want it to.

BTW, Craig Fry, you actually were talking about violent revolution. You're a poor back-peddler.

From the notoriously capitalistic/right-wing magazine Forbes:

Trump May Be The Most Fiscally Reckless President In American History

Forbes https://www.forbes.com/sites/stancollender/2018/05/20/trump-may-be-the-most-fiscally-reckless-president-in-american-history/#1eb5cfe9564a

All of this makes it quite easy to confirm that, less than 18 months into his administration, Donald Trump is the most fiscally irresponsible president at least in recent American history...and quite possibly of all time.

Trump's behavior on everything and anything having to do with the federal budget has become blatantly predictable and painfully obvious. It always includes some combination of:

1. Proposing whatever he wants on revenues and spending regardless of whether it is the right policy for the economy.

2. Making up his own rules of economics, mathematics and budgeting to justify what's being proposed and make them politically palatable.

3. Discrediting the facts when they get in the way of what he wants to do and demeaning those that produce them.

4. Ignoring reality when what actually happens turns out very different from what he swore would occur.

5. Paying no attention whatsoever to the budget deficit and national debt.

Trump's big tax cut demonstrates every ingredient of this witches' brew.

First, the bill's $1.5 trillion revenue loss, debt increase and stimulus was the absolute wrong fiscal policy with the economy so strong.

Second, no amount of Trump insistence and bullying about dynamic scoring was going to make that tax cut revenue neutral.
Third, even when they came from Republican-led groups like the Joint Economic Committee, nonpartisan groups like the Congressional Budget Office and Wall Street, the analyses (and those that did them) showing Trump to be wrong were trashed by the White House.

Fourth, now that the tax cut has been enacted, Trump doesn't seem to care that his promise of a deficit-neutral bill was flat out wrong even though it will cause the budget deficit to reach record heights in good economic times.

But the tax cut is hardly the only example.

Trump's combination of a big increase in military spending and a very large reduction in revenues meant rapidly growing interest payments both because of higher deficits and debt and fast-rising interest rates. There was also Trump's "skinny budget" that wasn't a budget at all; the two full Trump budgets the White House abandoned
seemingly moments after they were released; and the health care debate during which the White House scurrilously criticized CBO for daring to produce highly credible analyses showing the president's numbers were wrong.

The worst thing about all of this is that, even after his policies have done so much damage, neither Trump nor any other members of his economic policy team -- Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow and Council of Economic Advisors Chairman Kevin Hassett -- have even hinted about there being a problem that requires attention and a change in attitude and direction.

I know this should really be posted on the 'Giant Ark on the Moon' thread, but here we are.......
In October 2017, President Trump posed with a group of high-ranking military officers and cryptically declared that it was “the calm before the storm.” Most journalists puzzled over the remark for a moment and moved on to whatever chaos came next. But that seemingly random comment was the spark for a what’s now become the new right-wing conspiracy theory du jour: “The Storm”

A few weeks after Trump’s statement, an anonymous poster who claimed to have top secret “Q Clearance” (in reality, a classification only used by the Department of Energy) began posting cryptic “breadcrumbs” of “intel” related to what they claimed was the imminent revelation of a massive conspiracy at the highest levels of government. And Q called it “The Storm.”

https://twitter.com/55true4u/status/973939989347106818

In short, rhetorical fragments, “Q” (also called “QAnon”) revealed that President Trump was not actually under investigation as the mainstream media was reporting, but had really brought in Special Counsel Robert Mueller to crush the gigantic Obama/Clinton child sex trafficking ring first revealed by “Pizzagate.”

When Trump and Mueller have finished their work, ten thousand sealed indictments (some Q followers claim it’s actually as high as eighteen thousand) will be unleashed, with the Democratic evildoers rounded up, tried by military tribunals, and shipped off to a massively expanded Guantanamo Bay prison, with peace and prosperity to follow.

These Trumpian people really believe this sh#t. Here's a link for further edification:
https://www.dailydot.com/layer8/qanon-the-storm/ It's an interesting read.

And what happened to all the 'relocation camps' Obama built? You'd think Trump would have exposed those right away. Maybe he's saving them to use himself to get rid of liberals........

The great thing about conspiracies is that they're endless and not disprovable (as anything is not). Exciting times indeed.

'bowl movement'? What's that? Carrying cereal to the table? But, still, I understand.

Yeah Cosmic, the repubs sure were civil and polished while Obama was president. How soon they forget. Sort of reminds me of '1984' and the constant rewriting of history. Soon we too will believe two opposite things can be true at once and the boot heel will grind us forever. Sure glad I still have my NZ passport.

Marshall Kamena is a registered Democrat and was elected mayor of Livermore, CA.. He ran on the democratic ticket as he knew a Bay Area city would never vote for a Republican. He is as conservative as they come.

He's as conservative as they come, yet he's a democrat. Hmmmm....
