It hit 55 F in Choss Creek today.
A busy Friday, but we did go to the local hot spring, but did not visit the alligator.
On the way, Heidi let me stop and look at the new lambs.
Even though the sheep were friendly: I respected the sign.
Happy Friday! I finished the day with a (4.2)free-solo of Rocky Point!

Weezy - you just might be the dumbest-ass motherfvcker who ever lived.
I hope your damn dog is happy.
Starting out here with some nice/cheap Aussie Chard. Lindemann's - can't go wrong for six bucks from my wine store in Kentucky.

I'm on some kind of Lent or something. Another dry Friday night.
Drinking is so much better when you don't do it all the time.
Let's see, pull plastic at the gym or or watch the Oscars? Hmmmm. Tough decision.

Pete- I tried a couple of bottles of Yellowtail Chard, sub $10 bucks, once when I was feeling pinched for $$. Couldn't bear it - it had this strange phenolic after-taste. You find the Lindmann's OK? My go to "cheap" Chards these days are the La Crema and Husch. Both sub $15 at Safeway.
Happy Friday!

Don't want to be the boss of anyone...retired here, kinda, have been dubbed The Admiral of our sailboat. But tonight, hanging out at Kirkwood after good skiing day, not the best ever, but I'll still drink to being able to push the boards downhill and stay with 'em

Ooooh, the Friday Night Post is gaining Critical Mass!
Phylp - the Yellowtail brand used to be really good about ten or fifteen years ago, before they became popular and "too big for the britches". I have noticed a huge drop in their quality since. Lindemann's - at least the Chard - remains pretty good value for six bucks or so. The other Aussie product that is amazingly good for the same price is Black Swan, believe it or knott. The Cab and Cab/Shiraz is good, but the Shiraz is knott. I haven't tried their Chard because I'm good with Lindemann's.
Anybody who lives in California and/or has access to a full-line Trader Joe's ought to be able to share his own value wine selections.
Carry on!
Dude! Did you say NINE beers??? Holy.

Russ - how many people, over the years, have contributed the two bucks on your website to buy you a beer?
Just curious....
You and Deucey were among the first innovators to use the internet for your business. You continue to do almost all of your business through it, but I never saw John follow suit. Of course in fairness, I'm knott sure John is/was selling anything. Or knott climbing related?

Would I have ever met this Boxer Boss person?
No matter. But Susan, Being an Admiral is way too much boss. Yo was at Kirkwood? My family lives 1/2 hour below there. Glad to hear you are having fun.
I'm honing my backpacking skills through the Sierra Club. Learning to weigh each item. If I'm good I can include my nighttime cocktail .... one shot of Bacardi Oakheart spiced rum yo lay under the stars and go to sleep by.
Edit: Well good to see the Dr. F cacti are still in good order. :D

Rumor has it that Fritz got into his cups waay before beer-thirty and was last seen walking out
the door muttering about wrasslin' some gator or sumpin.
Me? I've good reason to pound my Troubador hard tonight. No, it's not a euphemism, it's a
Belgian, beer, that is. I took the E ticket ride in my homie's new Carrera S today and life as I
know it is consequently worthless. I need to have a fundraiser.
