Took a ride on the M5 bus loop yesterday for grins and giggles. Before the M5 loop I rode the M6, the Olive loops, going past my folks' old home. The one next door is framed and ready after it burnt to the ground three years ago.
Our old home was damaged by the fire, too. It's been remodeled some and then sold.

The doctor who birthed Bevin 40 years ago today in Vallejo looked uncannily like Warren Harding after several days on a wall...tired, really disheveled, and a beard shadow. Same eyes, same dark hair and devilish features.

I had to take this from across the street."That's no ordinary dog!"
"Ohh."
"That's the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered canine you ever set eyes on!"

The Longest Holiday
(our son Manuel would’ve turned 42 yrs old this Christmas Eve)
life changing dramatic upheavals
happen more often these days
the heart is much colder
yet now that I’m older
I’m much more forgiving today
irreconcilable indifference remains
on how I once treated my brain
harmful addictions
I once saw as fictions
I’ve long since now cast them away
for such incomprehensible things
what demoralization it brings
though I’ve wished it on none
it’s afflicted my son
and now he returns to the clay
the holidays are the hardest this year
the pain in our hearts sharp and clear
Christmas music will find
someone’s missing in kind
I might listen but he’s no longer here
last night the grief wouldn’t end
silent night brought back memories again
primed by La bohème
the tears would not stem
for this holiday we’re all missing him
life changing dramatic upheavals
in a world of complete disarray
life is much colder
yet now that I’m older
I’m forgiving myself every day

It's you and me Doc
RDOS, AOS, Paddleboards, Turnkey business systems, operating an entire company on two 5 MB (not GB) discs, tape drives
DG Nova and Eclipse, I remember them well...
Folks were actually developing business software for the Cincinnati Milacron:
This machine was introduced in 1977, and I was technically a dealer although I never sold one (which explains the Cybertronics label on the cover page). Prices ranged from $16K-70K, and it was a radical foray into the world of “small business computers” for a long-established company that had been focused on numerical-control machining and robotics.

Hey Mouse
Well need to begin to say Merry Christmas first and foremost.
We somehow need to get together Buffet awaits queen of hearts, ninja but
main thing need to see the movie "Pres" sorry have that wrong "Vice" before it goes away.
Curious notice all the guitars posting mostly acoustic seeing guys tapes on their fingers and the such just wonder how many here on ST play. Taken a guess a good dozen. wonder if anyone has seen these before and what is it,
I know it says Gibson but trying to find out more if anyone knows about it or see these.
will post some upcoming news tttttoday. Miss you and hope all is well
