When the Flames turns 18,000
Was a time when you turned eighteen
you weren’t allowed to vote or drink
You were drafted into war
where you weren’t allowed to think
You could smoke all your ciggies
‘till you began to stink
You could marry and could screw
but you’d be tried if you were pink
Oh we’re marching off to war
to get the clap from all the whores
We’re marching off to Nam
and we still don’t know what for

Now you can marry your own sex
not really sure what will come next
It doesn’t matter much to me

And children still go off to war
their social life is such a bore
Enlisted in their hearts and minds
to an economic chance to score
Off to Afghanistan or worse
youth for some can be a curse
Politicians steer them here or there
sometimes they come home in a hearse
Oh we’re marching off to a voting war
to be gaslighted by wealthy whores
We’re all marching to a future hell
and still don’t know what for

WE can complain and bitch and moan and wail and freak out all we want,
but can any of us promulgate a specific solution to a specific problem?
Or do we keep railing about the Loser-In-Chief and how he's such a low-life,
which might lead us to believe that he is the cause of our problems?

If you got that link from the OP of this thread, then yes.
In a deplorable move, one that I forever shall regret and never live down, I shut down the Flames.
It was revived due to poopular demand.
On the eve of another gov't shutdown, I suggest a car rally in the ditch and the Tioga Road, all drivers going full out on these well-manicured and newly paved NPS roadways.
The Rally in the Valley could be possible only if no LEO vehicles were on the road, which they are not during gov't shutdowns.

Random googling of Moira Donohoe and then I stumbled onto the untitled thread...I sometimes google people, places, and things I’ve not heard of or find interest in. Did she go on to become a successful artist with a local gallery? Or is that a different Moira Donohoe?
