hey there say, all... finally got back here...

lots going on, i can see...

and, some nice photos, again...

say, as to this:

The photo looks to be Topanga up near Latigo.

Used to surf there and run up the Coast Hwy.

Very dangerous.

wow-- can you, zBrown ... please, tell me more about this place...
:) thank you...

and--i really liked that-- oh suzanna, with the tanyas?
very nice!

ahhh, and mouse, robert fuller does excellent work, so,
he give the boost, to whatever he is in, :)

but-- john wayne, has his own thing...
glenn ford, too...

they all seem best, with what they have done, but,
still-- it is interesting, to speculate, sometimes... :)

switching any of them, around, would change the whole mood and
tempo and flavor of the various works, etc... though, :)

Popo is grabbing the spotlight, but how's about a little love for Paracutin, who's just a bit older than I?

Mexico is often visited by aliens.

DMT, my brothers, my dad, Ed Hartouni, to name a few...

I'm surprised DT hasn't gone there.

Farmer Dionisio Pulido saw it emerge out of his cornfield on February 20th , 1943, at around 4 PM.

The Significat of St. Laurie *

So I'm one old guy on my porch upright,
waiting for my gal who's coming by tonight.
We're gonna step out and do things right
by howling at the moon while tripping the light.

She'll be here soon,
don't know when we'll be back.
I can't dance but she has the knack
For making me feel like I'm not a hack.

It's hell to grow old but it's heaven, I'm told,
when you have a sweet gal with a heart of gold.
She makes me feel like I'm on the right track--
She is my Jill and I am her Jack.

Magnificat
A Catholic Prayer

My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior; Because He has regarded the lowliness of His handmaid; for behold, henceforth all generations shall call me blessed; Because He who is mighty has done great things for me, and Holy is His Name; And His mercy is from generation to generation on those who fear Him. He has shown might with His arm, He has scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart. He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and has exalted the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he has sent away empty. He has given help to Israel, His servant, mindful of His mercy - Even as He spoke to our father - to Abraham and to his posterity forever.

hi there neebee

This video gives an idea of what traveling the area going North to South is like.

DMT's photo was looking North from the South end of the drive.

I take no responsibilty for the soundtrack.:)

I used to run right by the white stripe. That's why I said it was very dangerous. Cars traveling 65+

This one actually covers the area more closely.

Still heading south though. Of course I had to go in both directions.

There was a guy at UCI, whose real name I do not think I ever knew. To us he was always Malibu.

I had an Animal Traks board shaped specifically for the Malibu break.

Buuut, it was so crowded that we liked to head up further north.

Malibu looked just like this and his name wasn't Murphy

BTW Jim Clipper, the YAG laser treatment worked very well. My vision is much better now and I have had "starbursts" in that eye since the day of the surgery (mulitfocal lens) and they seem to have diminished greatly too.

I guess it's been an early Christmas for zorroBrown.

WHAT DMT photo? I am not in the loop here.

Meh...I been everywhere along the coast N of Malibu/Pepperdine, climbed a bit on Mugu Rock (meh) and that road-cut leading to Port Hueneme & Oxnardo or east toward Camarillo?

You know the section that shows up ad nauseum in so many car commercials?

But not here. Nossiree, senors y senoras. We have our standards on De Flames.

for love again

I wouldn’t want you to think
I didn’t care
or that love was just a thing
like you and me
like everything
we’re just here

I wouldn’t want to waste
your time
or that it’s all so casual
what I see in you
it’s not usual
or unkind

Like when I saw you
that first time
we’ve hit the restart again
my long lost friend

In our first life
our hearts were as one
in our first life baby
our first life
under the setting sun
