I must take issue with Ricky D's statement about Herr Braun's ownership of the term "Stupid Americans."

He facetiously claims it is wholly owned by the Wiggler, but it was in fact used in the Trevanian novel, Shibumi, in a speech by a character called "The Gnome."
Published in 1979.
Describing the Watergate afterbath, The Gnome says:
"In time, each of the criminals wrote a book or did a television program
describing his part in the rape of American civil rights, and each was
paid lavishly by the stupid American public, which seems to have a particular
impulse toward having their noses rubbed in their own shitt."
It is "close enough for government work," in my opinion, even if the words are not totally the same.
In reality, Americans are no more stupid than the next nationality. We are just larger targets.

I find the style of the video hard to watch. The constant edit of camera angles
as a opposed to a slower formula ,just never works for me.
Staccato video, in skiing videos and surfing also
you just need to show the flow,
This video ish!tCans Sasha's strength. Instead of showcasing and her amazing flow. it up and turns your stomach with flickering back and forth shots .
So that video as great as it could have been as great as a feat of climbing, it needs a replacement. . . .

Lew's outfit included a walking stick and that old hat and that coat of leather. He visited me in the bookstore nearly every day. He walked the same route every day. He never drank. He constantly kept up a little tablet for his poems and random jottings.
And when he passed, many went mad with grief. Not really, but he was a prolific artist, gave a lot of his work away, and left over seventy-five works stashed in his rooms, only one of which the building manager kept. There was one of Ft. Churchill, NV, on the wall of the bookstore that he'd given to Jim, my boss. It went to Jim's widow. I assume his family took the rest to distribute among themselves or to sell.
The old boy had had some very good and very bad experiences in World War II. He affected the western style of dress because he was from the Great Basin, like Nevada or Utah.

Merced has in the past had the reputation as the third-largest Chinese population in California. Railroad construction and irrigation canal digging were the primary reasons.
Where Freeway 99 runs through the center of town, parallel with the tracks, is where our old Chinatown was sited, between Thirteenth St. and what would have been "Fifteenth St." but was warehouse space.
It's all gone, buried by 99. I call it Szechuan Highlands.

So my wife has signed a few of her paintings this may indicate that three things may be true
They are finished.!

keep your fingers crossed for this next thing;

As to why not - 'that' - one instead ? She is hyper self critical but it gives her joy
I hope to take a picture . . . .
The dog did not swim! She was happy to be up to her schnozz in cool water .
No pictures and no swimming.
I tried to throw , well, I used a tennis racket,
To get her to swim, even for her ball.
No dice she stood and got full wet but not a paw left the sandy bottom.
