Speaking changing sea levels and coastal flooding, how many millions were forced from their homes as a result of rising sea levels?
Edward, this is the MO of an old poster named Sketch. He would ask silly questions, ones which he well knew the answer to, in an attempt to bait/troll people.
Sketch got kicked off the forum for being a jerk. You don't want to be like Sketch, now do you Edward?

What's wrong with that question? Perhaps, the answer is an inconvenient truth.
Still waiting to see the post where I supposedly said the leaked budgets from the Heartland Institute were just conjecture (or even worse, "complete BS").

The truth is, the subject of rising sea water has to do with the future. Very sorry to hear that this central theme was lost on you.
Also, I am quite sure you can find out for yourself how many millions have lost their homes. You have shown that you can do research using the web, when you want to.

What are you talking about?
You are acting more and more like Sketch--he used to love to play word games.

Figure it out.

We'll just chalk this up as another bogus K-man claim. Complete BS.
It seems like every time we interact it starts with you carping about something petty. And even though I try to spell it out, you just don't get it. This latest go is a prime example. I'd like to think you're just trolling. But you're so consistent, it's hard to imagine it's an act.

spell out who 'called' you re: Obamacare? and maybe we'll get that you aren't completely full of BS.
Just when I start worrying about K-man being on the short bus, all by his lonesome, you chime in.
Thanks Wade.

Just like Sketch; when you're up against the wall, attack. So predictable.
By the way, have you figured out how many millions were forced from their homes due to rising sea levels? Be honest now.

K-man - I asked you repeatedly and politely to explain yourself. When you asked what I was talking about, I posted specifics. And still, you duck my question.
A few days ago, you asked me to elaborate on claims about denier funding, which I did. You respond by questioning a single detail, which was irrelevent to the big picture. I addressed that detail. But you glommed onto it like somehow destroyed my credibility.
About that detail....It didn't matter!
Then, you imply my "1 million dollar" ballpark estimate somehow invalidates my questioning a published studies conclusion.
It's the same old dance with you: Minutia, missing the (obvious) points and personal attacks.
How you criticize my behavior when I stoop to your level... that always cracks me up.

You're right Edward, you never said that the Heartland Institute numbers were "conjecture" or "complete BS." What you did say was this: "The [Heartland Institute] numbers you posted above prove nothing."
Just like Sketch, Edward, you are stuck on word games. Quite tiring, and something you'd think a grown man would get past.

You're right Edward, you never said that the Heartland Institute numbers were "conjecture" or "complete BS." Is this your admission of being wrong?
What you did say was this: "The [Heartland Institute] numbers you posted above prove nothing."
Right. Regarding dollars spent on denier efforts, they prove nothing. Context.
Where did that $1M number come from EdwardT? Sounds very low, considering this that I posted earlier:
Heartland receives money from approximately 5,000 individuals and organizations, and no single corporate entity donates more than 5% of the operating budget,[62] although the figure for individual donors can be much higher, with a single anonymous donor providing $4.6 million in 2008, and $979,000 in 2011, accounting for 20% of Heartland's overall budget, according to reports of a leaked fundraising plan.[63]
Explain how the information in this post invalidates my estimate of one million dollars/year.

Speaking of word games, remember this?
What you... keep saying is it's out of context because it's out of context. This is a true statement.

EdwardT is Sketch
and he is here for one reason
To annoy us
and that's all he does, annoy, attack and add chaos
Isn't that a enough of a charge to earn Another Banning!
Don't bother answering the troll's questions
you know for a fact they won't go anywhere
he will just try to wear you out
asking for more of something that he will just disregard

Hi Craig.
The other day I posted.

In all, 140 foundations funneled $558 million to almost 100 climate denial organizations from 2003 to 2010.
$558 million to almost 100 climate denial organizations?
Let's see the top three recipients and the documentation supporting the funds they spent on denier efforts.
Can you help me with this information?
I would be most grateful.

It is without question that conservative foundations play a major role in the creation and maintenance of the CCCM [climate change counter-movement]. All of the available information illustrates strong links between these foundations and organizations in the CCCM, even despite efforts such as the creation of Donors Trust/Capital to conceal these funding flows. The largest and most consistent funders of organizations orchestrating efforts to defeat efforts to mitigate climate change are a number of well-known conservative foundations. These foundations promote neoliberal free-market ideas in many realms, and have extended their funding of conservative causes to encompass climate change.
The available data indicates that the Koch and ExxonMobil Foundations have recently pulled back from publicly funding CCCM organizations. From 2003 to 2007, the Koch Affiliated Foundations and the ExxonMobil Foundation were heavily involved in funding CCCM organizations. But since 2008, they are no longer making publicly traceable contributions to CCCM organizations. Instead, funding has shifted to pass through untraceable sources. Coinciding with the decline in traceable funding, the amount of funding given to CCCM organizations by Donors Trust/Capital has risen dramatically.

As Sketch, or EdwardT?
Now that all your Sketch postings have disappeared, you can pretend your history is only EdwartT.
Your behavior as Sketch to Dr F is well known as rude and adversarial.
