Been jammin' on the piano...
This Cole Porter song - from the Great American Songbook - is one of the greatest songs every written.
Hundreds of years from now, when all of the junk of today is long forgotten - they'll still be singing this one....
"It was just one of those walls, just one of those fabulous walls..."
The ultimate familiar recording is of course Frank:

But I really love Jamie Cullum's up-tempo take:

Hey Tobia,
You like Herbie Hancock, and you didn't include Chameleon??
Here you go!

Those of you know me as a trombone and piano player, know that I *despise* the techno sound, in spite of the brilliance of this chart.
So if you really wanna hear Chameleon, you gotta here THIS Hoser play it!

Maynard's chart is worth watching for two reasons - the bass 'bone playing the riff, and the hairstyles!! Ok, Ok, - I *love* the red shirts!

man, looks like a fm station here today, short shifts; but a variety of music.
pppete, i meant no disrespect with my post this morning, i was having a little fun.
zb, never heard Johnny Rivers cover of Positively 4th Street before. i kind of agree with Bob, I like the bass lines myself. Bob liked to jump up on tables a lot, at least in No Direction Home.
speaking of covers, here is one that Simon and Garfunkel would have to appreciate.

The Wailers should have covered Positively 4th Street, if Bob was so into the bass lines.
