↑ because bob wants a royalty, youtube and uploader's ain't payin'(?)
that ticket price is comical for this day and time, i think i paid $80+ to sit close to Trucks Tedeschi Band and they were paying 12+ musicians.

Thanks for the mention Tobia...
I'll always consider myself a Dead Head but I'm more into modern acts, of all kinds, these days.
Live music especially, and I'm lucky enough to catch good music often.
Just recently I've seen my favorites live, and all within walking distance of home!!!
The Avett Brothers
Jeff Tweedy
and just last night...you guessed it....
RYAN ADAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111
(Here's my review if you care to read https://corazonderelicto.wordpress.com/ )
there's a bunch of non-music related writing in there too...
So, no Dead, but here's this Saturday's offering....
Check this guy out- you oldtimey blues guys might just like him- proper Country.

jefe, hopefully we all evolve and are open to new music. i know i have and am; but as most that post here, never lose our roots.
it still tickles me that a website born of granite, is home to a very diversified and resourceful music forum.

Tobia:
I think the culprit here is Youtube.
The sites that I traded music on were scrupulous about removing any content that an artist objected to. Some (e.g. Hot Tuna, Van Morrison) were just completely off limits.
Dylan and his attorneys knew these recordings were being circulated and they also knew that nobody was making any money from the trading and therefore they were not concerned. There was a small hard-working audience that was interested in the music, not the money.
Youtube came along, made it easy to disseminate stuff and added a profit motive and you know how most everybody likes to profit. It's ironic that big profiteers like Columbia (and Bob himself) took so long to recognize the value of what they had and began releasing the bootleg series.

i never heard this song before, my friend played it at his wedding a few weeks ago. 24,616,751 people have listened to it on one upload on youtube since Oct 2014, that's impressive in a way.

bro h, nice hanky panky. i immediately thought of Tommy James, even though it was a cover for his band. Crimson & Clover was an original, one of the first songs recorded w/ a 16 track machine. Supposedly he recorded to break away from pop to psychedelic music.
