Freedom at the expense of others is not freedom; it's tyranny.

Christmas in prison is on lockdown. At least if was East of Eden. No fun intended.
"Someone lost some metal on the yard." Where'd the guards go? Parking lot is mostly empty, at least until the New Year.
Snitches get stitches? You may not have seen you on the other side, but it wasn't uncommon knowledge. Glints of humanity amid a sea of hopelessness, and episodic waves of violence.
Straight talk? Some seemed willing to listen. Keep programming. No more non-violent three time losers, being sat down all day. No more kids and the mentally ill in the shu. No more minor predators without a shot at redemption. Things change? Seasons are constant? Happy Christmas.

Cosmic, beware the hateful girlfriend drama. A fondness for polish sausage has never been kosher, that goes for those in gp too. Also, if you're into stalking gnomes, s&y may seem safer, but again, girlfriend drama.
