I went to the historical society's Christmas At the Courthouse open house and song fest this morning,
started shooting at 11-ish and finished after the Bear Creek Ukelele Society finished their set around 4:30.
Dozens of docents, a redundancy of elves from the local High Schools, and volunteers (like myself) helped make it a fine event, as usual.
Civic groups set up a tree and there were many-many of a large variety, all plastic and tinsel and so forth,
but hey, it's an old building and natural trees aren't such a great idea.

A ladies' group, Harmony Valley Chorus, sang a number of trad carols.
One of them, Carolyn Davis, is an alto who is a sign language instructor
at Merced College since the seventies. She provided signs and wonders
for their rendition of White Christmas.
Signing and singing.

My dad's nickname is Boomer, but he sang much better than the bobcat.
Boomer was a member of the Society for the Preservation of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America (SPBSQSA). Say it.
This photo and others were on a Christmas tree put up by the Friends of the Zoo.
I am truly exhausted. Hitting the rack.
