Billions?

There is plenty of info on denier funding and alot that is hidden.
Oh yeah it,s that renewable energy industry that only owns 2% of the market share funding this whole HOAX!
Or just blame it on us"fiscal liberals",you know, government.
If you could get anywhere near realistic with anything you contend ,you just might be better liked.

Conspiracy? Did I say there's "a conspiracy that's propagated by thousands of scientists across multiple countries for multiple decades"?
EdwardT
No EdwardT, you did not directly say that there is a conspiracy. Instead, your posts indicate to me that you deny the findings of the climate scientists who are raising the alarm about AWG.
Please tell me how you can deny the scientific findings of thousands of international climate scientists without there being a huge conspiracy to cook the science books.
If you don't believe there is cause for alarm, please tell me how your belief can be valid in light of the findings of hundreds and hundreds of peer-reviewed studies. If there is not a conspiracy to distort the truth, then how can teams of international scientists come to the same conclusions about AGW?
My prediction is that you will ignore this question.

How about some hard numbers?
We frequently hear about all the huge sums funding deniers. Not skeptics, but actual deniers. People who intentionally subvert "the truth".
But when someone asks for specifics, we get responses like Splaters - Truckloads of partisan spin, which don't answer the question.

What have I denied? Today, I pointed out failed predictions. Not sure what you think I've denied.

You're making an accusation, based on a bogus assumption.

Well done. Back me into a corner about made up views.
What conclusions?
My prediction is that you will ignore this question.
Another failed prediction.

You are right, I am making an assumption about your beliefs based on what you post.
Each of your posts has a slant that shows a denial of the findings of the climate science community. Because of that, I am assuming that you are a denier of the scientific findings of the IPCC and other climate scientists who believe that AWG poses a real problem.
Am I right about my assumption that you deny the alarms raised by the IPCC and other climate scientists who say we are in big trouble due to AWG?
PS. This does sound like a conversation I've previously had with a poster/poser named Sketch.

A close friend with homes in Moscow , London , Switerzland , Bend, Oregon , etc. does PR work for large corporations and oil conglomerates to make these companies appear people friendly...A good example of his work is making BP look like the victim in the gulf of mexico oil spill...Clutching at straws and denying that corporate America isn't flushing billions of dollars down the toilet to combat climate change research is pure fantasy...

The US government spends over 21 billion dollars each year on climate change expenditures.
EdwardT
EdwardT looks smart!
... how can teams of international scientists come to the same conclusions about AWG?
What conclusions?
EdwardT does not look smart!.
Who is this newcomer to the thread. Throws out non-sequitur one liners, posts talking points from the denier camp, denies being a denier.
Hmmm, we have seen this sort before.

"The US government spends over 21 billion dollars each year on climate change expenditures.
EdwardT"
Did you know that half of that "funding" is just tax deductions? Which is better for the future: $10 billion in climate research or $50 billion for Sandy flooding to rebuild near the shore or $3 trillion dumped on wars in the Mideast? Or the cumulative $300 billion in tax breaks given to fossil fuel diggers? Or the yearly $100-200 billion subsidy of external costs of burning fossil fuels?
How can you possibly compare basic research to pure lobbyist payoffs to
Congress? One is science, one is anti-science.
"Today, I pointed out failed predictions."
That is as amusing as any of the blustering BS normally chuffed out by the chef denier. Are you his alter ego? Have you not heard in your "faux and imbalanced" sourcing any of the numerous predictions that are quite accurate?
Wake up and smell the fumes of combustion. Many former deniers have already admitted they were wrong, at least the ones with some brainpower. Are you no smarter than the chief permanent 5 year old?
