Yes, by all means go to the original and zoom in as close as you want in both images. The natural feature is clearly visible in the originals but not in the altered faked image at the top of this post.
Klimmer, if the natural feature is clearly visible in the undisputed originals that are not stereograms, then why do we need to view the stereogram?

Such people often find the need to cry about how many people "threaten" them by calling them out on their very personal insults and their goading.
His is the kind who start a fight, then call the police when it is time to put up. "He THREATENED me" ...
cry? "I fart in your general direction..."
i never made a big deal of your threats because men who threaten are pussies, not men.
you have whined about lack of respect, whined about being unemployed, whined about california, whined about city of rocks, whined about wolves...
if in real life you are anything like you are on here, then you are nothing but a steaming pile of crap...
i don't threaten, and i will forgive and forget to a point, beyond that point, i take action and don't need to act like a big internet tuff man, you unemployed internet whiner...
don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong about being unemployed. but there is something wrong about whining about being unemployed then doing nothing about it.
you want respect then you got to keep fighting for a job, then you might gain some respect.

face it, klim, you're not going to get the answers you want about that thing on the moon and it's probably not important either. there is plenty to be suspicious about from other ethereal things happening right here on the planet--the crop rings, the ufo sightings, the deactivated nukes--and you're not going to get answers about them either. step back and look at the big picture. there are two kinds of people on the planet, the controlled dummies and the controllers, the ones who won't open the files, won't investigate the obvious about 9/11, the ones who fire the honest reporters and screw the honest elections.
now i want you to step back another step and tell me exactly how your contradictory theology fits into all this. sometimes god is omnipotent, sometimes he's just another competing ET faction. one thing for sure, he isn't in control, he plays games with us. the devil does too. even though we're a worthless bunch of lab mice, we seem to be important enough for a whole raft of other-dimensional ETs, holy people and holy hell people to be flitting around the planet, making deals with popes and presidents, keeping it all secret--for what? to get us to go to church on sunday? or take our vacations to sin city? or both?

i understand that passions are running high here. however there are legal ramifications and recourse in this. some of these discussions have clearly crossed over the line. i grew up in idaho, but left there a long time ago, and don't like that sort of thinking. never mind the local culture; assault and battery is illegal throughout the county and the countryside, as are threats of such. stalking and slander are also illegal. if the internet seems somewhat overlooked regarding this; you can be sure that is a temporary state of affairs while law enforcement takes the opportunity to troll for offenders. i would have thought you people would be sufficiently sophisticated to realize that. i also agree that a lot of the reasoning on this thread is pretty flakey; however that in itself is not a condemnation of a person. the internet brings together a wide variety of cultures and points of view and is a great way to resolve some of these wild inconsistencies. it is also a good place to develop tolerant understanding. whatever the case and no matter the superficial anonymity, threats, slander and stalking are outside the law. a limited amount of disrespect and ridicule may not be illegal, but are certainly childish and inappropriate

Cops mostly monitor for sex crimes (particularly underage) in known high risk hangouts, Tom. ST is not one of these sites.
If you want action about other stuff, go to the cops, start a civil suit, or stop your whining.

The way to go around here in these kinds of threads is just post your stuff and ignore idiots like graniteclimber when he does his stupid stalking.
You can't really give people like that any credence when they remain anonymous.
They are acting as cowards in that incarnation as a poster.
A coward on a battlefield suffers the greatest of them all and no one respects them.
They lose everything .......

Pate,
Along with GC and a few others you guys are the worst.
You know if you ever got into trouble in Yosemite and needed a rescue, Werner even knowing who you are "Pate" of ST infamy, he would probably still rescue you. Why? Because he is a better person than you.

Monolith,
Good question. It is clearly visible in the original stereogram images from Apollo 15 (by the way, they list them as stereo images for a reason, so you will view them in stereo). You can see it, but it doesn't register in your "minds eye" because you can not see the relief unless you view it in 3D. And it is also clearly visible in the images from Apollo 20.
Here is an experiment: start walking or driving your car around with only one eye open. How many accidents do you experience? (By the way, don't really do this.) Our ability to see depth of field is critical to get more information about our surroundings. Without it we miss a great amount of detailed information. That is why stereo viewing, stereograms, stereo plotters are so important in the Earth Sciences, geomorphology, and Cartography etc. etc.
I will give you a hint:
This is even ST relevant!
It is a massive boulder like formation. It is clearly visible in the originals from Apollo 15 and Apollo 17, and also visible in "Apollo 20" images.
It is removed from the altered and faked image. The massive boulder is vanished, erased in the altered image. Poooooof! Gone.
This is a very significant detail for many reasons. Now, see if you can find it. It will be easier in 3D!

Still waiting for an answer Klimmer.
You said the natural feature is clearly visible in the original (non-stereogram) pics.
If they are clearly visible, then you don't need the stereogram.
Cintune's pic is not a stereogram so stereograms are useless if you say the feature is not in Cintune's pic.
Simple logic, Klimmer. I don't know how to make it simpler for you.
Now stop dancing around.

Monolith,
I'm agreeing with you. You are staring at it but you probably don't realize it. You can clearly see it in 2D in the official unaltered images. You can not see it in the altered, faked image. (It will be easier in 3D)
Go and find it!
I gave you lots of hints. It is a big massive like boulder formation. It's absence in the altered and faked image is significant.

You are not making any sense, Klimmer. We don't have a stereogram version of Cintune's pic.
Drop the stereogram posturing bullsh#t.
The question you should be asking is what is the pedigree of Cintune's pic?
What is the process to make it from a legit source? I know you won't look into it, but it's a curiosity for me, because zooming into the pics from lpi.usra with a toy image viewer does not give you he resolution of Cintune's pic.
But, they show that the 'nose' is part of a continuous geology feature.

tom, you sometimes seem like an intelligent guy. have you thought about how a court case like this might go down???
PROSECUTOR: ladies and gentlemen of the jury, we are here today because hawkeye was insulting and defaming the character of certain posters on supertaco.com. the thread was titled, The Massive Ark on the Moon (very OT, but of high interest). Mr. hawkeye was defaming the character of several ST posters who were debating whether or not there was an Alien Ark hidden on the moon. Mr. klimmer was most insulted as he was the poster who started the thread and he believes that these aliens are tied into the devil and that NASA is covering the whole thing up. Mr. bmacd was also insulted because his claim at having seen an “invisible sasquatch” was poo-poohed by mr. hawkeye. ladies and gentlemen of the jury, we are charging mr. hawkeye with internet bullying because mr. hawkeye made fun of these beliefs and defamed the other posters character.
Right tom, right…
there is absolutley nothing that i ,or anyone else can say, that would defame klimmers character worse thatn what he has written here...if you truly believe that then you got your own issues dude....

I am put in mind of a room I once saw, hidden deep inside of Army intelligence headquarters in a certain Fort in Arizona. Inside a blast hardened building, inside what looked like a bank vault, but was likely a farraday cage, were two dozen soldiers in camo, hunched over individual computers, and doing NOTHING but playing the classic windows solitaire, because I was there on business.
What you didn't see is that they spent most of their time playing solitaire when you weren't there on business.
We have a lot of government workers here on Supertopo. Some of them are even posting to this thread on government time and/or using government computers.

i thought you were too? at least that is what those highly reliable sources were saying earlier on the thread...
