It's a great photo of a winning fighter with a harem. The bat photo is a cool one.
Something else again:

The arrival of someone famous was something to look forward to, especially when they were kings like Babe Ruth, ”King of Swat.” Ruth made a trip throughout the US accompanied by Lou Gehrig (LEFT) and was met in Fresno by Father Crowley.--As Pop "Fresno's Finest" Laval Saw It
Marlow, how much do you know of American culture? For example, can you answer this?
During the 1927 baseball season, Ruth hit how many home runs?
A simple yes or no.

The answer is: no...
Everything I know about American culture I have learned on Supertopo or by reading newspapers or books.
Neither do I know much about Norwegian culture, the passing-times of Hjallis, famous Norwegian speed skater, when he won 10000 meters during the 1952 Winter Olympics in Oslo as an example.

I wonder how many Americans could tell you how many home runs Babe Ruth hit in 1927? A few elderly baseball freaks maybe, but not many others.
On the other hand, go into the local Starbucks and pry one of those typical Americans off his/her iPhone or iPad, and ask for details on the latest Miley Cyrus video and you'll get flooded with trivia.
Now, back to photos...

This is a section of the BNSF from the Bear Creek Bridge to the Amtrak Station in Merced. Many famous and many more not-so-famous Norwegians may have traveled this section on the Amtrak San Joaquin.
But the picture is telling a totally different story to you, isn't it, Marlow?
God knows how Reilly is affected by the drama of BENT IRON AND THE FORCES IT TOOK TO BEND IT.
But I'll just let the picture tell you about that.
Frankly, I don't care if anyone be seein' what I sawn. Have sawn.
