The low life has never wanted for style. My uncles could turn a wrench, but I never hung around enough to learn anything. Mom said her favorite was her brother's 59 impala.
He would have liked the pictures, but would have noted that he had a 3 window coupe, '32. He never really bragged, was often self deprecating, but there were some things he would never apologize for either.

Huge day walkin' the streets. Breakfasted at the Cinema, then tooled around slowly. Bookstore, tobacco shop, bench in front of the theater, Marie's for lunch (albondigas, of course), hangin' out in their patio, then walking to the bus stop and home.
Felt pretty good. Tuned myself up for tomorrow's Veterans parade.

Walking down the boulevard where life is not too awfully hard,
I came across some talking head, each one the other's pard.
