aH, WHAT CAN I SAY?

Thank you zB.

In all that you share your superiority shines through.
I've tried to, too.
in fact I did retreat, but have been drawn back in.

I will re-double my efforts to curb my verbiage & increase my scarcity.

Hey,
What can I say. What else should I say?
IF there ARE MORE apologies that are necessary?
I apologize.

there is so much to reflect on, having re-read the pre-gnome.
Amazing !

What follows was a knee jerk, ( just the later?) post
directed to the Docs of the highest reknown in a field that demands ernest thought mixed with wild imagination, some folks are so lucky to have embraced the vast ability of the human condition. . . (Sorry Z)

". . . . have you ever read "Tuxedo Park", by Jennet Conant,
The story of the 1st rad lab that was responsible for winning world war II, so ancient history, but it hints that the Swiss tutors were early climbers in the woods of the East Coast.

To which I can only add a name who was once in that Particle Collider game & most likely is a name you know?

Tor . . .

I would love to hear from Dr Raubenhiemer, I owe him a world of thanks, my world is so much richer because of all the rock, rope & partners that we shared.

Say hello to him if he ever comes by.

Eggs Ackley, bro.

As you may recall, if you've been here long enough, Moss ran into a bit of trouble at the base of Sunnyside Bench:

A cry came from above suddenly. "ROCK!"

As Moss moved backwards toward the shelter of trees, the lights went out

In the darkened mist a voice came to him:

"There is surely something of the devil in you, Moss. My name is Stone, by the way, and I am your master."

This voice was like a smile that was heard, the words sibilant as the tiny sounds a spring makes, cheer in every note. Moss felt his non-existent mouth curl into a contented smile, like the kind brought on by mellow hashish.

He rejected the demonic origin of his skill. He knew he was a product of Nature's forge, crafted to near perfection by the same forces which gave this voice its appeal. The devil had nothing to do with it.

And then the lights came back on. Dill was looking him over and Werner was blowing smoke out his nose right in his face.

"He's conscious. Let's let him lie here for a bit, then carry him out. I'm gonna at least finish this nail."

"Aw, Whudda hell," Moss thought, and went back under just like that.

He was like that.

Muddly McWaters - Mannish Boy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llgj7PwRb5E

The Rolling Stones, who actually took their name from Waters' single, "Rollin' Stone Blues," even loved "Mannish Boy" so much that they often covered it in their early days as a band and released it on the 1977 album Love You Live.

For Waters himself, "Mannish Boy" was a staple throughout his career. He included it on 1968's Electric Mud, 1977's Hard Again and 1979's Muddy "Mississippi" Waters – Live. Waters can also be seen performing it on the iconic 1978 film The Last Waltz, which documents the Band's farewell show at San Francisco's Winterland Ballroom.

"Mannish Boy" might just be Waters' biggest hit. It reached No. 5 on Billboard's R&B chart upon its release and was later inducted into the Blues Hall of Fam "Classics of Blues" wing, as well as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's list of the "500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll." In addition, Rolling Stone included it in their compilation of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time."

Not too bad for a simple repetitive guitar line and a catchy set of lyrics that bordered on raunchy.

And then there was the competition...

Ellas McDaniel known as Bo Diddley/I'm a Man
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SaC5ZKRjLUM

Born in McComb, Mississippi, as Ellas Otha Bates, he was adopted and raised by his mother's cousin, Gussie McDaniel, whose surname he assumed.

In 1934, the McDaniel family moved to the South Side of Chicago, where he dropped the Otha and became Ellas McDaniel. He was an active member of Chicago's Ebenezer Baptist Church, where he studied the trombone and the violin, becoming so proficient on the violin that the musical director invited him to join the orchestra.

He performed until he was 18. However, he was more interested in the pulsating, rhythmic music he heard at a local Pentecostal church and took up the guitar, thank God."I'm a Rollin' Stone.
I'm made to move, honey."
