a more detailed plan is starting to be formed...
the Bay Area Wide Crew sounds like it is getting the wagons hitched up on Saturday, August 15.
We will probably blast to Salt Lake City and rendezvous with wide denizens there, then push on out to Wyoming on Sunday August 16.
Here the plans get a little bit different, we are talking about trying out a new area Dingus McGee has been developing on Sun and Mon, arriving at Vedauwoo on Monday evening August 17.
From then we'll climb our butts off (probably literally) at Vedauwoo through the weekend, departing, I'm guessing, early Sunday August 22.
Things may change as details are revealed...

maybe, just maybe i could take friday off...we got some huge thingy with the 2 week endgame going on though...dunno...
the first place i ever took my first rope and shoes to was the wu...oddly enough in the middle of august, ten years ago...

i'm bringing boxing gloves for my hands and my feet...we can cover them with 4 layers of ductape and i bet i can second *anything*...
i won't be able to clip in when i get to the belay though...

Well that changes it for me.
As climbing por moi is 50-50 at best, the primary reason I'm showing is to socialize with out-of-towners.
So Ed, who all is in that crew?
I was hoping to see you, Jay & Scuff at the minimum.
May be able to get out there for the day on August 18...

Looks like Ed, Em, Spyork y yo and Mike F (we abduct him in SLC, but he is still one of 'Us') looks like Scuff is a no show. And oh yeah propable Dingus McGee presence, cap America too.
