At the very worst, it will be the second coldest sushifest to date. No way it's going into the single digits while the sun is still up, like that other time. People going in to this have their eyes open. I wish I could be there to be part of the fun!

Bah. Once again, I am denied the sushifest, this time despite living in Tucson!

Originally, the plan was to drive down saturday morning, climb something and enjoy the fest in the evening.

Then, things got crazy with needing to spend most of the weekend on wedding plans. So we'd just drive down late afternoon on saturday, enjoy the fest, and maybe get in a bit of cragging on sunday morning.

then, we'd just plan to leave in the morning.

Then, things on saturday took forever. It was 7pm by the time we all packed to leave town, and michele was feeling a bit under the weather. Doing a 3.5 hour round trip drve for 12 hrs of sushifest, most of it asleep, seemed absurd.

And that's how sushifest slipped away yet again...

Yeah, I kind of suck
