I'd trust the judgement of professional bookie over whatever the news media has to say on the matter. It's illegal to bet on elections in the US, but that doesn't stop a bunch of out-of-state gambling houses and websites from taking bets. Hillary is the favored candidate to win it on all of these. Rubio pulls in a distant second, with Trump coming in a still more distant third (which is scary enough). The odds against Trump are around 7:1 or 8:1. Odds against any Republican winning the general election are currently 6:5. Which means Norton's bet is a sh#t one to accept. You'd make 20% more money if you took the same bet to a gambling site won. But of course you wouldn't have the satisfaction of taking Norton's money.

PredictWise is showing Rubio as the heavy favorite to be the Republican nominee
http://www.predictwise.com/
they assume that the Republican base voter will come to their senses at some point
and vote for who is the best candidate to face Hillary
I think they are wrong, they give the Repub base voter too much intelligence credit
the base wants someone just like them, older, white, racist - has to be Donald

A computer didn't predict it. It's just a simple statistical analysis that only takes into account the approval ratings of the party leaving office and the odds of that party winning the next election, you could crunch those numbers with a pen and paper. Obama's approval is low so the Republicans will win, it's as simple as that right? Also Reuters didn't build the "computer model", this was just taken from a blog post one of the contributors made on the Reuters website. And now a blogger on the Fortune website is reporting on it. Gotta love click-bait news.

Norton, $3000 is to much for my conviction. How about $100? I say, the next president will be a Republican.
Hi Moose!
I cannot bet any amount with you, especially given that I am very convinced that a Repub cannot get to 270 Electoral votes
now, if one of the mouth breathing, uninformed and misinformed Sarah voters here who are still sucking their thumbs and obsessed with posting childish pictures of President Obama or Hillary Clinton would like to take my bet then I would be delighted
how about taking my bet, you kids can pool your money to raise the 3K?

It was in fact shown on the the news here Arabs dancing in the streets in Jersey city and Patterson NJ after the attack.
Really? Where's the footage then? If it was on the news, surely you can provide it!
But, you can't/wont because it never happened.

There were news stories of "Palestinians dancing in the streets", with video of kids dancing around... maybe even burning US flags. It turned out the story involved one isolated event.
Never heard any stories of people celebrating on US soil.

ort I watched it on the news and clearly remember the anger i felt when seeing people in my state cheering. why should I have to provide something that was shown on TV 14 years ago? this was in 2001 before all this social media crap. you can call Trump a liar all you want but do Not call me a liar.

Interesting how prejudice, anger and dislike allows one to remember things that never happened. Especially when you have 15 years to massage that memory with more current images and emotions.
Yep I too remember the lady who cheered and a flag burning over in the middle east..but fortunately my mind has stayed clear enough not to make up false memories of Americans cheering about the loss of the towers.
For what it is worth..those of you who believe you remember Trumps supposed memory...what do you think would have happened to any neighborhood in Jersey that had cheered that day.
-----
What this supposed memory (if he is telling the truth and actually believes it) really tells me is that Trump hates Muslims.
Or he is a liar or both.

There was celebratory emotion coming from some of the more newly arrived middle eastern in America community right after 9-11. Witnessed it myself from pronouncements of my Persian sister in law. That quickly gave way to blaming Mossad.

Hmm I suppose it's possible that something was on Jersey local news that wasn't picked up by 24/7 Cable news. I'd imagine there were some folks in America secretly cheering.
So how many people were at these tailgate parties? Were these folks really cheering??..Were they really in Jersey and how could you tell other than what some anouncer might have said. Or was it just people watching the smoke and devastation across the river. You sure you are not confused with the stuff being shown from palestine that day.
Anycase I don't think that is what Trump is claiming. 1000's as I recall.
Regardless he was dead wrong to suggest a watch list of all muslims.
