Running in shorts today. Ski areas barely open and really shouldn't be. This is the Northwest, and the least snow since the 70's.

The ditches are filling with Texans.
The worst snow drivers I've ever seen are Montucky aholes in 4x4 pickups. They litter the highways and roads.

It sure hasn't been winter-like for the last 2 weeks in South Idaho. Average highs are running 10 degrees F above the hundred year average, which works out to daytime highs in the mid 50's to mid 60's, and nighttime lows above freezing. The asparagus is up two weeks earlier than we've ever seen and the arugula & chives are happy too. Best of all: the mountain snowpacks in central & east Idaho are still near or above average.
I am kinda, sorta, starting to feel sorry for those folks in the NE US.

Didn't really feel like spring was in the air here Ms. L.
More like summer.
I've been outside all day in glorious sunshine, too. The temp didn't get much above 60, so it didn't quite feel like summer was here yet, but definitely close.

there were really doing awful there... all that snow... :O
thanks for sharing... we were worse last year... snowwise, but
10 degrees colder, a least, all this winter... and a few times, more, :O
