This is proving irresistible, Fritz... with your permission, I"m going to drive out. I haven't climbed in the City since there was an ethics controversy. 87 & 88. F*#k me to tears, that's more than 25 years! How is that even possible?

Fritz-
Have you calculated the total numbers involved, taking into consideration all the "Texas Buttheads" presumably camping up at Breadloaves? This could be the climbing community's "Social and Climbing Event of the Year!"
We also need to establish a "food fund," as we cannot expect Wayno to front the cash for all the cooking he's offered to do. Maybe Wayno should "shout out" how much he needs as a contribution from each individual on a daily basis to cover the expense of feeding these participants. I'm always up for participating in the aftermath cleanup, as are several others. Maybe we should set up a KP signup sheet by the day or meal?

I plan to accompany Andrzej and camp with him--he's reservations in a campgraound
and none about me, fortunately.
Maybe we can grub up some more Couch Potatoes?
El Capitan Fries.Good eats.
I'd volunteer to bring potatoes, but that's like coals to Newcastle.
How about a certain number of Newcastle Brown Ales, then? And a ice chest. And some ice.
Oh, and how about a five-gallon container of Fern Spring water?

Tom is one of Mom's cousins, son of Uncle Roy and Aunt Sis (Coonrod) Shaw, whose place I last visited when I was three. Sis was the eldest of the Coonrods, and my Nana was one of the younger girls.
I remember the trip and a place called, at least by Roy, Sunrise Mountain, I think.
I'm looking forward to this with relish and lots of Ketchump.

Well it's not in camera ready ink yet but I have written this shindigittydoo in my calendar in block letters with very heavy pencil. It's sounding like a stellar group of good people showing up. So many posters I'd really like to meet and maybe tie in with.

Looks like my first climbing partner, photographer Scott Spiker is in. Originally from Moo-cow. He and my brother and I learnd to climb in a quarry consisting of frozen decomposed granite in the winter of '74 just north of Moscow.
He's got his own site since ours is full.
This will be a great reunion as well for the three of us.
40 years later we can bow before the great Fritz, the dirty gear dealer who facilitated our juvenile delquency.

Getting closer....I'll have a month in Yosemite and a month in the Black Canyon to prepare, getting goosebumps already....hope I'm up to it. Thank god Wayno will be there to to provide tasty, nutritious chow to keep us strong. Oh, and don't forget the memorable Fritz campfire chatter to cap the day.
