Wow - I get swept away in a storm, find a safe haven, and see where this thread has gone! Whoa. All very interesting, but I *need* to know who I am. Everyone else gets to be someone.... Whaddabout me? :)

Is this the longest thread?

I'm exhausted. I started reading from the beginning then lost track and it expanded like a new universe. Now I'm reading from the bottom up, and ready for a break.

This must be the longest thread in ST forum history.

Wow! It took me two beers to get through this thread. No doubt the longest and talk about a little thread drift from time to time. I had to look way back to see where I last posted on this one. Somewhere during the first beer.

Jaybro,
Tarbuster,

The rest of the story is: I had a small mishap, though painful in its own right, earlier in life while horsing around with my siblings and sitting on a shopping cart. So the evidence you might find when a girl loses her virginity wasn't there when I lost mine. Imagine being a girl growing up in the Middle East on marriage night under similar circumstances. He didn't believe a word I said and was frightened, I think. He said something about not going to jail--funny, though, we hooked up several times after that and before we both found new lovers, new schools, thousands of miles apart. But I met up with him in my early 20s by happenstance. Some where in the years past he had befriended a girl who attended my high school the same time I was there. I don't think I spoke 3 words to this girl during the two years I attended that school. She fed him all the rumors she had heard about me, all untrue. It was interesting that even then, he was still accusing me of lying. He was not a heart break for me. I have had a few heart breaks, but not him.

John,

you are awesome.

I'm outta here for a while... road tripping. I can't wait.
So, as you guys say,

John,

Help me out here. I was literally shutting down when I saw her post come in. She doesn't get it... she doesn't get that I'm not refuting her. Maybe she will listen to you because you are man. Maybe you can speak to her on her level. It will be better coming from you, than me.

Later. The road is calling.

"Michelle Pfieffer? Oh, you mean the 'movie' catwoman. Eartha Kitt, Julie Newmar, and (?) will always be the only catwoman, for me," Adam West, in an episode of the Simps.

Myself, I have no argument with any of them, even Halle Berry.

Rather than start a Julie Newmar appreciation thread, I'll support Locker's record attempt.

Julie Newmar holds three U.S. patents. Two for pantyhose, one for bras.

You're not Julie Newmar, either. She likes camping in the southwest.

Johnx01,

The strangest thing that has EVER happened in CR was a weather phenomena that happened late last month when these clouds rolled in

Many of us thought the Mother Ship was on it's way. The wife and I gathered up the cats and dogs and cowered in the basement hoping to avoid the inevitable assimilation.

You can read about and see more pics of this strange weather event

this is quite the coed thread.
how refreshing.

have a nice trip jenna!
do post up some pics and a report here when you git back.
i'm sure we'll still be right in place,
dog piling on the werds or each other,
or quietly chatting over biscuits.
with tea.

gosh lois,
way teh shut the girl down.
back in the days of trad gods vs rap bolters,
you could have really been a hammer!
(last term out of context).
(in fact i don't even know what i just said).

previous couple dozen posts
fondly recalls my lunch hours
with the gals on 17th street here in Boulder.
they proudly called it the house of estrogen.
kate & tania were my sponsors.
all the gals wore boots.
boy's were welcome,
but you had to pet the kittys,
or simply let them up in yer lap.
