Hey Mike, Just wanted to thank you. Back in the early 90's You took me and some of the other staff form the Solid Rock Gym in SD bouldering around J-Tree and another time out at Woodson. You probably don't remember but I haven't forgotten it was real cool of you and I had a great time. You spent some time with me showing me how to Stem Gem. I do it and or try it every trip out there but never with your style. Thanks, Jon

Wow, way cool Jon! I have super memories of Solid Rock and how our band even used to practice back in the warehouse! Peace, MP!

Love computers, and have my degree in Computer Graphics, but they can also be a hassle at times as depicted here...

Whoa, Mike! I just scrolled back a few pages and saw the picture of Raleigh Collins, you, et al, humping his hanglider up that mountain, then I saw, "R.I.P." after his name! What happened? When?
I met Raleigh at the Uncertainty Principle b.i.t.d. when he told me he had just did five extreme sports in a day, or something like that? Then watching him school me on U.P. afterwards.

When ever i here the name MP i flash back on the first(and only)time i saw the dood...'79 bouldering contest at the Magnolia Boulders. He is wearing this psycho-disco shirt, purple bellbottoms and addida tennies without laces. Fast forward to the final problem in the contest which I remember well. It is a showdown between JB & some dude from UCSD on a steep and thin crimping & friction face/boulder about 20ft high. They both eventually send it. Afterwards, as everyone drifts off in various directions, MP strolls up and on sights it in the blink of an eye...in his untied tennies. I remember thinkin "Who the f*#k is this kid?"
