Actually, nobody[{edit; here, anyway} blamed this shooting on Palin, I've read the whole thread. It's not there.

Maybe you could show us, sis?

Bob Marley didn't do it either, though he did mention something about "burning and looting tonight"....

By the way, who was it that made a celebrated movie about the assassination of Pres. Bush?

Uh what? I don't know. Who did? I haven't heard of one. And celebrated? By whom? Did it win at Cannes or the Oscars? I'm pretty confused because you're talking about a film that I've literally never heard mentioned and saying it's celebrated but I have seen no such celebration. I'm guessing it was celebrated on right wing blogs as "proof" of something or other so that you could bring it up now.

Raise your hands if you've heard of this "celebrated film" about the assassination of Dubya. Raise both hands if you actually celebrated it.

Only one example? Seriously, LEB? People have posted dozens of examples in this thread. You're just not reading them apparently. LEB the Ostrich.

"Again, this notion is too ridiculous for me to discuss. You all are telling me that this scumbag killed xyz people and critically wounded others BECAUSE the GOPs MADE him do it (eyes rolled). Sorry guys, I am not playing this any further. It is literally too absurd to argue."

No LEB no-one said that. Thats what is called a straw man fallacy.

Your so stupid enough that you probably can't figure out why its a straw man, but for the rest of us, its just one more idiotic example of why an ignore button would be nice.

Very sad day. At 2:15 here she worries about rightist violent rhetoric

Maybe he was just a loon. But I don't think you can deny that politics in America, particularly on the far right, has become like pro wrestling. If anything can stop that, it is this. But I don't think anything can stop it.

Ok, LEB, let's run an experiment.

I'll set up a webpage that portrays you as an abortion provider that moves from state to state to "do your thing". I post your home address. I post a picture of your car. I post your picture, with crosshairs on it.

I advocate that you are a killer of children, and that stopping you by any means, is doing God's work, and the duty of all God's people. I tell them that you are hiding where you are now on the reservation.

I'm not particularly skilled at creating web pages, but I have friends that are VERY skilled, and it starts getting 100,000 hits a day.

You start becoming the victim of vandalism. Your car has 4 flat tires, every day, on the days when the windshield is not broken. You find out your house has burned down. Your husband has acid thrown into his face.

Now, I have done NOTHING violent to you whatsoever. I have not even advocated anything violent overtly be done. The fact that I have MADE UP the information about providing abortion services....what difference does that make?

You've advocated that a person can advocate whatever they want, and then, whatever a third person does, there is no legal, moral, or ethical responsibility for what that third person does?

Seems like I'm off the hook!

You're right Ron, I do deserve one for reading this.
On the other hand reading this is a lobotomy of sorts. It's gotten pretty far up a house of cards, from concern for the victims of a senseless crime.

Okay, my other lobe is calling me back to watch the end of True Grit!

I really think they have outdone themselves this time. Now, in addition to everything else they blame us for, this time they blame the GOP for a psychopathic killer.

Oh lawdy be! I dooo declare! Always the victim, LEB. Funny thing is that nobody has blamed you for this. I know, huge ego shocker for it to not actually be about you though I can see you so desperately want it to be. As usual the only thing you're being blamed for is being uninformed and terrible posting.

All this outrage Skipt and the best you can come up with is terrible posts by people on this forum. Nothing actually approaching what leading members of the RNC and the right wing political/media elite have said on the record. Your response to Palin's remarks is literally to quote Dr. F and AC. Hilarious.

LEB,

you won't go back and read what people said on this thread yet spin up more accusations against said people. You are not worth the time. If you want to defend this action by Palin, I implied that you should not mind it being done to yourself. You cannot have it both ways. On one hand you accuse me of viloence, yet defend Palin's right to place crosshairs on a canidate's identity. Now I see why many feel discussion with you are like talking at a black hole. Over and out, no more from me, it's a waste of time.

A few "meek liberal" copy and pastes:

"A spoiled child (Bush) is telling us our Social Security isn't safe anymore, so he is going to fix it for us. Well, here's your answer, you ungrateful whelp: [audio sound of 4 gunshots being fired.] Just try it, you little b*stard. [audio of gun being cocked]." -- A "humor bit" from the Randi Rhodes show

"I want to go up to the closest white person and say: 'You can't understand this, it's a black thing' and then slap him, just for my mental health" -- New York city councilman Charles Barron

"..And then there's Rumsfeld who said of Iraq 'We have our good days and our bad days.' We should put this S.O.B. up against a wall and say 'This is one of our bad days' and pull the trigger." -- From a fundraising ad put out by the St. Petersburg Democratic Club

"I believe in ecoterrorism." --James Cameron

"...In an ideal world, American consumers could be convinced to do the right thing through an appeal to logic with public service messages like the 'What Would Jesus Drive?' TV campaign, but the kind of people who would buy a car that increases the risk to other motorists in an accident can't be reasoned with. They're selfish and stupid. It's unfortunate that drivers must worry that their SUVs are being targeted by insulting stickers and Molotov cocktails, but one thing's for sure: It couldn't be happening to a more deserving group of people." --
Ted Rall
winks at ecoterrorism

"F*** God D*mned Joe the God D*mned Motherf*cking plumber! I want Motherf*cking Joe the plumber dead." -- Liberal talk show host Charles Karel Bouley on the air.

"Republicans don't believe in the imagination, partly because so few of them have one, but mostly because it gets in the way of their chosen work, which is to destroy the human race and the planet. Human beings, who have imaginations, can see a recipe for disaster in the making; Republicans, whose goal in life is to profit from disaster and who don't give a hoot about human beings, either can't or won't. Which is why I personally think they should be exterminated before they cause any more harm." -- The Village Voice's Michael Feingold, a theater review of all places

(Rush Limbaugh)" just wants the country to fail. To me that's treason. He's not saying anything different than what Osama Bin Laden is saying. You might want to look into this, sir, because I think Rush Limbaugh was the 20th hijacker but he was just so strung out on Oxycontin he missed his flight. ... Rush Limbaugh, I hope the country fails, I hope his kidneys fail, how about that?" --
Wanda Sykes

"You guys see Live and Let Die, the great Bond film with Yaphet Kotto as the bad guy, Mr. Big? In the end they jam a big CO2 pellet in his face and he blew up. I have to tell you, Rush Limbaugh is looking more and more like Mr. Big, and at some point somebody’s going to jam a CO2 pellet into his head and he’s going to explode like a giant blimp. That day may come. Not yet. But we’ll be there to watch. I think he’s Mr. Big, I think Yaphet Kotto. Are you watching, Rush?" --Chris Matthews

"I have zero doubt that if Dick Cheney was not in power, people wouldn't be dying needlessly tomorrow....I'm just saying if he did die, other people, more people would live. That's a fact." -- Bill Maher

"If I got (Condi Rice) a— on camera, I would put my Mars Air Jordans so far up her butt that the Mayo Clinic would have to remove them." --Spike Lee

"O&A - 'Condoleezza Rice'"
Charlie - "I'd love to f--- that b*tch dude" (laughter)
Charlie - "She's the F---in man"
O&A - "yeah"
Charlie - "I'd F...that b*tch...."
O&A - "I just imagine the horror in Condoleezza Rice's face...."
"(laughter) ..... as she realizes what's going on"
"...as you were just holding her down and F'n her."
Charlie - "punch her all the F'n face, shut the F--- up b*tch"
O&A - "that's exactly what I meant" (laughter in background)
Charlie - "you know F--- it .... and George Bush wife? I'd F--- that b*tch to death" -- "Shock Jocks" Opie & Anthony rape & violence with their guest "Homeless Charlie."

"For those of you who do, as a matter of principle, oppose war in any form, the idea of supporting a conscientious objector who's already been inducted [and] in his combat service in Iraq might have a certain appeal. But let me ask you this: Would you render the same support to someone who hadn't conscientiously objected, but rather instead rolled a grenade under their line officer in order to neutralize the combat capacity of their unit?" -- University Professor Ward Churhill supporting soldiers who frag their officers

"Drudge? Aw, Drudge, somebody ought to wrap a strong Republican entrail around his neck and hoist him up about six feet in the air and watch him bounce." -- Liberal radio host, Mike Malloy

"I know how the 'tea party' people feel, the anger, venom and bile that many of them showed during the recent House vote on health-care reform. I know because I want to spit on them, take one of their 'Obama Plan White Slavery' signs and knock every racist and homophobic tooth out of their Cro-Magnon heads." -- The Washington Post's Courtland Milloy

Still not a single quote from a Democratic politician/office holder that can match the repetitive drumbeat of the right wing. Everybody is going to have cultural figures and random jerks who in frustrated or self-engrandizing moments say something over the top and vitriolic. So far only Palin and company have made it the centerpiece of their political language.

And Opie and Anthony? Seriously? OPIE AND ANTHONY? Hahaha man.

Funny that The Lois got all tweaked when people and the media were saying unpleasant things about that whack job Palin. She even defended Palin's chicken sh#t cut and run quitting of her Govenor's job. Thought it was good of her to get away from the unpleasant scrutiny she was facing.

But then The Lois refuses to acknowledge the negative effect of the right wing's relentless vitriol.

Lois please don't waste your precious time as an abortion provider to respond to me. You are not worth the time.

Note that the Tea party does not speak for the republican party; it's just a faction thereof.
