hey there say, all... wow, now that i can play videos, AND LEARNED HOW TO POST THEM...
and even music,
)thanks to my brother helping me get faster internet...)
(however, it does still stall into 'robot sounds' and i have to pause and wait--it IS highly worth it) --WELL, i can share these now:
I COULD LISTEN and dance to these guys all night... wow...
horsey music, i call it... due to the wonderful 'clump clump' sound of the
percussion... :)
FIRST here is a mix of some of their most popular cubias!!
man, their 'group sound' was so perfect! they are the best, to me...

HERE is one of my best favorites, and fun:

HERE in action, when they were younger:

early years, another of my most favorites, but
one of those ol' sad one...
his voice really MADE the group... and their teamwork,
mixed in great...

HERE as they progressed:
AW! perfecting the bronco-sound... their very uniqueness, above all!
(the audience of course, gets in the way of the flow, but
wow, they LOVE them)

AHHHHH, thanks guys, as i go down memory lane...
will have to find the old 'taped from radio' stuff from south texas
and have some dance time, now... :))
oh last note, for those that do not know what 'huepango' is...
wow, we'd just go 'nuts' when the bands played one, at the dances...
some very proper and some would add own flair!
man oh man, i love this stuff, could dance to this all night!!
(no, not the super-close couples way, i like the old style:
show off the skill in the jumps!)
yep, you can't have a party, without the huapango!
AND--THEY CAN get going very fast, too!!!!

oooookay, then... friday night is here one day early, i reckon...

hey there say, all...
this one is live, and a bit rough... but it give you that
idea of the great 'commotion' ...
has the drum roll, cowbell and cymbals, for the hard downbeat...
where as, some areas of mexico, do these huapangos with fiddle music...
if you are a dancer, this is like a rumbling train, that can go on-and-on
and a great test of endurance, and fun, :))
(though may be boring, for those not used to it)

It was ten years ago on a cold dark night.
Could be the first in a tortuously long series of "Brown" songs.
