Heartbroken for what might have been for it not for the birth of this life. Meaning's subjectiveness and how it can all be thrown put the window in an instant. Once it is too late to turn back, with no steps to retrace... in an open field in solitude.
Or maybe its just the strange nature of the movie in which I first heard the tune and found it fitting in with my own brain waves and moods.
I hope it can can give a bump to you too.

I am always amazed at how different "young" Frank Sinatra sounds from "classic" Frank Sinatra. He sounds so young in this recording!
It just so happens that I - like Tommy Dorsey - play trombone.
