Ha ! Yes, back when there was Half of me! ( can I Cliam gafuw?) to soon?
I GNOW , sweet right, the funny thing is the water damage was too great to bother digging through these suit-case type storage bags. Soft sided affairs, full of guides waivers, Mnt house, pay stubs, old Real Estate stuff.
And a whole trove of snaps.
You gnow those places that ask if you are so & so? & that there is lost cash in your name at some old long changed addy. ? Well I got one. Crossed checked it with a New York State Data base that only confirms "Some" no amount.
So it was a chore that has to be pursued, collecting any & all nuts that I can as winter is coming on.
That is what led to a trek, to the Jersey shore. I wish I had found old guide books and Xeroxes of the old stomping grounds, but that prolly went out in the shovel fulls after, 1st super storm Irene, & then the one y'all heard of named Sandy.
To ally any fears that may or may not exist

JB's Finale
The Godfather of Soul was buried in a crypt on his daughter's property in Beech Island, South Carolina.
Seventy-six days after his death, the Godfather of Soul was finally laid to rest on Beech Island, South Carolina. He was buried in a crypt at the home of his daughter, Deanna Brown Thomas.
The Rev. Al Sharpton presided over the burial: among those present were Brown's six adult children, his partner Tomi Rae Hynie, and their five-year-old son.
According to Reverend Sharpton, the burial was paid for by the adult children since disputes over Brown's estate were still being debated in the courts.
There is a possibility that Brown's body will be moved later to a public mausoleum and memorial garden, depending on the outcome of that dispute, as arrangements were made by trustees for Brown's body to rest in a public garden in Augusta.
But for now, the Godfather of Soul is finally buried peacefully.

Speaking of bringing it all back home and stealing stuff.
The Case: Courts found that two tracks on II, Led Zeppelin's sophomore album, owed crushing debts to Chicago blues classics by Willie Dixon. Album opener "Whole Lotta Love" copped lyrics from the 1962 Dixon-penned Muddy Waters song "You Need Love." The source material for Zep's "Bring It On Home" is even more apparent. Page borrowed the intro and outro of Sonny Boy Williamson's 1966 original, intending it as a deliberate homage to the blues great; Dixon didn't see it that way and sued the band for copyright infringement in 1972. He took them to court again in 1985 over writing credits on "Whole Lotta Love," which by then had become a classic-rock staple.
The Verdict: Both suits were settled out of court for undisclosed – but presumably large – sums. Songwriting credit reverted to Dixon in the case of "Bring It On Home," and his name is also included on "Whole Lotta Love" along with the rest of Led Zeppelin. Despite the cost, Robert Plant was unbothered by the controversy over the latter song. "Page's riff was Page's riff," he told Musician Magazine in 1990. "It was there before anything else. … At the time, there was a lot of conversation about what to do. It was decided that it was so far away in time and influence that … well, you only get caught when you're successful. That's the game."
Why It Matters: Led Zeppelin's artistic debt to the blues, one shared by many of their British classic-rock peers, was never in doubt, but these suits actually took legal stock of that debt – and put a price tag on it.
I saw Willie at the Rose Bowl Parade, but didn't want to disturb what looked to be a family gathering, so I gave him a wave. He did too. I wanted to ask him how much better it made him feel.
