GC,
I really do wonder what you are all about? Why linger here and just spew continual ridicule and attacks?
I mean it isn't me anymore but anyone that wants to talk about alternative theories and ideas?
Why are you so threatened by these discussions? All you do is continuously attack. Why not just don't click on these threads and avoid them?
Others question your true intention and I do too. And we all really wonder what kind of climber you possibly could be? Who spends a great amount of time in the college of the great outdoors and the natural world, climbing, doing incredible adventures with good friends, and then comes away with this kind of hate? How does that happen?
Post up a quick climbing resume please . . .
Mine short and sweet (not exhaustive or complete):
Climbing since 1974
Mt. Woodson local starting in about 1976
Rock climbing throughout SoCal
Alpine skier since 1974
Climbed many alpine routes in the Sierra over the years
Routes in Yosemite and Tuolumne (no walls yet)
Whitney 7 times (classic east face included)
NW climbing: Mt. Baker, Mt. Rainer, Mt. St. Helens, Leavenworth rock climbs, Beacon Rock, and more
Climbing in Mexico: Popocatepetl, Baja, Canon Tajo
Europe: Mt. Blanc, Italian Alps near Aosta, Pyrenees
1st ascents in and around San Diego County - small crags
1st ascents in and around Bishop region, and Alabama Hills near Lone Pine
BC skier
Paragliding since 1997
I continue to climb, ski, paraglide, scuba dive although I admit since I have had my 2 kids not getting out as much as I would like :-(
So who are you?

Agent bmacd, you may stand down for the evening, and await further orders. The "multi-dimension bigfoot" diversion won't be needed.

Hey klimmer, check out the photo that GC posted. Now theres a good topic, the Dumbs. My guess is that is one of the machines that is used to dig them. Lets not get GC going after that so keep it in mind and lets talk about it later.
cheers

Negative campaigning, also known more colloquially as "mudslinging", is trying to win an advantage by referring to negative aspects of an opponent or of a policy rather than emphasizing one's own positive attributes or preferred policies. In the broadest sense, the term covers any rhetoric which refers to an opponent, if only by way of contrast, but can also include attacks meant to destroy an opponent's character, which may veer into ad hominem.
An ad hominem (Latin: "to the man"), also known as argumentum ad hominem, is an attempt to link the validity of a premise to a characteristic or belief of the person advocating the premise. The ad hominem is a classic logical fallacy.

hawkeye: tony, i never met GC.
i don't think anyone on here knows him, and the only climbing post we can find from him is some loose talk about clyde minaret. nothing about climbing it, just his schedule for the day. he came here for a pat tilman thread, which is a real nwo subject. he doesn't participate in discussions, just tries to disrupt them with a steady, seemingly unlimited, stream of well-indexed artwork, although he does tend to repeat himself.
MH: Except in the case of anti-Zionists and their fellow travellers, a conspiracy theory that we don't tolerate.
in our country we distinguish between anti-semitism and opposition to zionism, MH. somehow, i don't think all canadians are quite that unsophisticated. you're supposed to be a lawyer?
btw, the contemplation of other dimensions is what they do in advanced physics. for some reason, 11 dimensions seems to be the working number. you and i are not destined to understand such things in our lifetimes, unless, of course, some alien/angel comes along and opens up a short cut. for the long route, advanced calculus is only the beginning.
Yo, GC....
You should get a job.
as tom suggested, he could be working one right now. there is considerable funding available for those willing to attack conspiracy theorists. the stated policy of the obama administration is something called "cognitive infiltration" in order to get people to think the way they ought to, and no better place for that than a blog site.

pate! thought you were staying away from here. into bulemia now, huh? damn, i miss your nuns.
She has become known within the black programs as a safe person to contact; as she is strictly honorable in keeping the trust of her sources ...
She was even hired by Nelson Rockefeller to investigate the truth behind all the stories about his family (and no, I don't know how that turned out! ...)
those are two things i'd like to talk to linda about, tom, especially that first one. in 10 years of newspapering, i learned that that kind of "trust" is not necessarily the hallmark of good journalism. a journalist's first duty is to the public. if keeping secrets might bring out information, so be it, but it doesn't always work that way. "embedded" journalism can be the result, which is a betrayal of the public trust, the only trust worth the trusting.
a journalist is never rewarded for this. it's one of the loneliest professions in the world, and few practice it any more. a good journalist can never be trusted by his or her "sources," and that's exactly the way it ought to be. the courage to disclose must come from the source itself. a good journalist knows to facilitate that, but it becomes a hot stew pot for both and it ain't much fun. too much of the wrong kind of trust will keep a reporter at the bottom, with lower-down sources, sources which prove worthless in the long run. stamina and courage might attract better sources and a good scoop--if the source itself has courage.
nelson rockefeller may have been the best of a bad lot. interesting that he would turn to someone like linda to learn more about his own family.

So much paranoia among the conspiracy droids. Goes with the territory.
GC please send me an NSA application for their course in pic posting, the most effective way to piss off the droids, and get them running to CMac.

Tony, I think it is a fine idea for you to talk to Linda. I have introduced other knowledgeable people to her and very much enjoyed listening to the interchange. She knows a lot more about these subjects than anyone else that I know. That especially includes people with high level clearances, because they are kept in the dark with compartmented secret information (CSI) and not allowed to talk to people.
It would probably be a good idea for you to meet me, and perhaps some of us could meet for lunch sometime. Linda is always glad to talk to me, but the challenge is finding time in her schedule, as there are so many demands on her time.
It is important to realize that all the information you want to know is already on the net. The challenge is just understanding what is truth and what is disinformation.
My general theory in life is that the truth will come out so long as you don't just give up.
I very much appreciate the knowledge and expertise that some people bring to this discussion. It's just tiresome wading through the mud from poorly informed and mean spirited people who feel they have to mess up the conversation. However even that is informative in several ways. In a funny sort of way it reveals more than it obscures.

gc is back in fine form; very cool art collection and pretty sophisticated selections
guess we're getting close to understanding something interesting
in my experience with the sciences, you often can't directly observe what you are interested in. however you can determine its nature by effects it causes on other things that you can observe
in working tracking cases you often have lots of tiny bits of data that don't make sense. so you continue collecting data and avoid jumping to conclusions until all the little bits of data basically force you into a conclusion
the disinformation team is obviously very knowledgeable and resourceful
you can tell a lot by just watching what gets them going

An uncle of a friend of mine from 1970 (I know) was a bird colonel on
Project Blue Book. He told my friend,
"I can't tell you anything but if I could you wouldn't believe it anyway."
That pretty well covers a lot of this, eh?
