I think I need to diss myself, because I am truly the worst f*#king free climber who ever lived!

I went free climbing today, and I was lame and pathetic and useless and incompetent, and I hang-dogged and pulled on slings and oh man oh man, do I ever SUCK!

But boy, did we drink a lot of beers.....

Working on some Aussie Chard right now.

P.S. Nice ranting, Silver!

Yeah Silver!!

The political threads are a joke! They don't solve anything, only create animosity amongst the climbing community....people who would normally get along great at the crag now have chips on their shoulders.

It's Saturday and I'm drinking some Tecate's, listening to the heavy rain here in Yos, getting ready to dance to some fiddle....cheers.

btw, i tipped one for Ian last night, an 'old e' 40 (all i cud afford, but it also seemed appropriate). i was just thinking about him this morning & what silver said. and wanted to post something, since i fell asleep/passed out (i'm a light-weight, lol) before i got around to saying something last night. and additionally, since there is no climbers forum in eternity to let him know, i thought i might just as well post it here, this morning! ... cheers Ian, r.i.p.!

Several of us salute Ian's dream, each in his or her own way.
This is as it should be.

Ahhhh....the downside of ageing, Friday night drinking vs. Saturday climbing- only one is possible now. Two glasses of a nice red wine will have to suffice.

Manzinita man....wow, thoughtful post!!! The virulent, Repub. effort to make Obama a one term president was, in no small part, due to racism- which, by the way, is still alive and well in Estados Unidos. Last four years...hmm, the worst recession since the depression caused largely by Repub. policies. Looks like Obama has done okay...consider where Europe is at the moment.
I'll bet 11/6 was a better day for me than it was for you...over and out.

Machismo/wealth are such attractive attributes (see above), no wonder they are so popular in our culture!

Gatoritas and Usual Suspects for me tonight. Love this movie.

OH SCHIST!

We have a "nasty & belligerent
-drunk" tonight.

MM? Wow! You own property and have ponds?

Doesn't give you the right to be an a-hole here-------and not get some well-deserved chops back in your face.

Did I forget to add that lashing out with superior intelligence is also an attractive attribute? Whoops, my bad!

Back to the Gritas and movie! Verbal Kint just got the gut-punch and said he probably will sh#t blood tonight.

Classic.

*Edit*: Well, that doesn't make any sense now with all the editing. I see what you did there, but I did it too ;P

nita, he's a rank amateur and he'll get eaten by sharks. Keep him around in the pirhana tank, meanwhile. He's funny when he's drinking. Right...

Meantime, your ass needs a good kick, Butthead.

"My intake" for the last ten days--three bottles Cab & one of Chardonnay, alone, one of Cab split 3-ways, three shots of JW Red. Seems like more. Anyway, ain't boozing tonight, too much to do, RELATED TO CLIMBING.
