Excerpt from a first draft of my new project in a secret location in plain sight
and in collaboration with Joe Carcione, Jr., and Reed Icculus, aka the Phish Doc.
“Escape From Outer Mangolia”
Stones litter the desert floor
Perches, apricats, necktierines, plumps, mangwents, and cheeries
It’s easy trailing these dummies
Snacking as they row their sand kayak blithely to the south
Hoping to escape
To find a haven
Where streets are lined with something other than droop poop
Maybe Yukon gold taters, for example
Oh yeah, they’re out there and they’re real near
I smell fruit farts
The bounty’s as good as mine
They must think they’re regular Bushmen, taking on this desert

Faces In Nature?
Look for pairs that define eyes.
Then find a relative nose.
Often a mouth must be accepted;
a blank or darker shaded area may be all . . .
In this the sky is a part of the face, the dark blurred leafy branch, a set of eyes,
Then two,
another face form'd by the rock,
a set of eyes set the head a bright hi-light on a mustashe {mustachio}above a wide open dark gaping mouth -
Or the crying face in profile
&
beyond that
along the skyline, chin-less, smiling, opened mouth, (that one is easy) . . .
There are more faces in that picture.
Many more, the sides & the depths hold distorted, squat & thin, humane as well as other-worldly.
