Just perused this thread to find out more on this topic…

Though I am sure I am not picking up what many are putting down here, I have picked up on the idea that Leggs is an alright gal who I find inspiring. Thank you for telling part of your story and for all the pics.

Cheers

Hi Jingy... Thank you for the appreciation... Thank you so much.
(Jingy... were you at the party for Blitzo?)

Jings, the thread's reason for being are encapsulated in the title. Whatever undercurrents there are in this stream? They all lead us down to a deep blue lake in the mountains with waters so calm the reflections hurt our eyes. And over there, by those two ancient junipers is the prefect camp spot!

The undercurrents are caused by rocks, sumps and snags in life. I've had a wild ride this summer, for example, and have come back to this thread time and again; touchstone.

Sometimes enjoying life can be a transparent enjoyment, of life. That's what this thread is all about.

Its a bootstrap.

You summed it up perfectly, Dingus... and I appreciate our friendship and the many other friendships that have come as a result of this thread.

Edit:
Received this handmade beautiful piece as a Christmas gift from one of my best friends, who is also a photographer...

When I saw it in person, I nearly fell over... and I certainly got teary eyed with her.
She is one talented woman!

Awwww, Moose... amazing. The best.

I have a super mommy heart, and started my son climbing when he was about 3 years old. He loved to boulder barefoot and climb routes with shoes on ...

Awwww.... Our babies.... babies no longer.
Forever our babies.

"Momellows."

They're like "basketti."

Or the "pitchers," like we called 'em when quite young, when I was off the road, gettin' fat on mom's momellows & basketti.

Wonderin' how to get a quarter for the pitchers.

I'm like JoeyF., easily amused but with champagne taste.

Lynnie is an awesome mommylow (!) cooker/flamer.

I like it when DMT whacks us poetic/pfilosopical...funny for the money, seriously.

And Moosecool, good stuff, Family Guy!
