Made the final run to Tim's Place this a.m. All's stashed and stacked and folded and there are just a couple boxes out in the garage with non-essential "stough."
neebee, thanks. It may do some good, eventually. You are such a good friend...

Here I sit,
All because of a broken part,
My dog done died,
And my dad-gum truck won't start.

so special to painters.

glad the slip from the wagon did not land you under the wheels. All these years later, I find your a cop-ish? deployment, to fit, but I take it with a sort of . . . of amazement.
funny to think of you & me, That is, as to who we have both become.

Dingus--The spot you refer to as Gold Wall is left of these obvious "gullies" or "lines." It is nearly above the parking on the end of Shell Rd. These lines all are further east along the wall.

When Peggy Lou and I were living in Chico in the early 70s, I used to climb up in Bidwell Park. A canyon called salmon hole had the best basalt. I remember one sketchy bomb bay chimney. Did any of the flame people out there ever climb at that spot? How about bald rock dome up on the feather river? Mouse, I remember Randy Hamm coming up and climbing with me for a bit. Were you on that trip? I can’t remember.

I came up with Dolores to visit you and Peggy in Chico one weekend. You and I top-roped something in a corner. I'm pretty sure it was Salmon Hole on Bidwell.
We all went to some sold-out porno flick on campus that night, too, but cannot recall the full title. The subject matter involved an orange, in part.

That rockwall always seemed to be in a state of eminent collapse. Seemed like it was swaying. Maybe it was. Most likely it was the purple double dome.
