If you're going to San Diego. Although this writer doesn't realize it, the music never died there.

I was wondering, as I am sometimes inclined to do, just what the greatest name in tools is. I searched high and low, then to my chagrin, not three feet from me, it appeared as if by magic.

Click to enlarge and you too will know.

Craftsman rules.

This is NOT a drill. It's the real thing only not in a bottle.

Only a drill to some, but it can be your driver, too.

"It's very rare to see this lake."
"One mated in my hand...they're mating in my hand."
"Hey, sorry to bother you, but will that yardstick tell us exactly where the center of the state is?"

In North Korea the center's here.
Funny, it's a ruler...

That Craftsman driver page is cool, if you mouse over (don't confuse with over-mousing) a portion of the small picture it gives you a super-enlarged close up.

I was wondering, why the ST Forum doesn't have that feature.

In San Diego, in surfing and I suppose in general there are some written rules and some unwritten ones. This appears to be an attempt at a written one.

I think that is Robert the Bruce on top of that turret, probably looking for his cat or maybe Katmandu.

Bruce Hamilton, TNF's tent designer and efficiency expert.

His "Simon Quotient" tested off the charts one night when his brother Randy brought in some Missouri Mule homegrown.
They had shares in a "catfish farm down there." Bruce is a Van D graduate and one of Jim's and my good friends from those Creedence Clearwatery daze next to Cosmo's on Fifth St.

A visit from the master geometrician in the seventies to the TNF plant on Harrison St. at Tenth.

Quite an afternoon's adventure, before heading to 510 Bistro to check out the wine liszt and say hi to Dennis & crew.Dennis M. standing in front of 510 Main St. and across from 519 Main St. He is a professional chef, part-owner of the cafe and bistro. They're all cool.

There's usually a point at which I am aiming, more or less, though I tend to ramble like a little kid in Family Circus, sometimes.

Point A.
I bought this paper at the Coffee Bandits. I came back to the Tioga, watched some NCAA, went down to the street expecting to get some photos of the renters' discussion with the media, which did not happen, and fell into hog heaven when I went in to Merced Tours to speak with Jessica and her husband, Jay, who is in the photo above with his black and white aerial candy.

As the rent committee left, I began shooting and questioning. They have this new business, Merced Tours (c'est tres Nice et interessant). It will have a small museum of Merced and the environs, i.e., Yosemite.

I then went to the bistro and came home to find the paper and read the article on the Greek colony in Merced. My older brother's two wives are Greek, just HAPPEN to be cousins...

Anyway, on the way home from the bistro, I had stopped and taken a picture of 519 Main St., an address on the ground floor of the Merced Lofts acrosse from the bistro and the bookstore where I worked. I was thinking of climbing ratings, naturally, in taking the pic.

I got into the article and the line jumps out at me

Instead of returning to greece, Peter came to Merced in March 1921 and started a shoe shine and repair business at 519 W. 17th St. (Main).

Well, I'm not one, well, I guess I am, at that, who goes and thinks God's tapping him on the shoulder, making him wonder, causing him to do foolish things. I tend to look at these things differently now that I'm older and have read some feralfae Buchanan--HAW!

I checked out yer posts, I just can't think of anything better than what you have said. You do cause me to think. Looking forward to your success(es), and failures, and recoups. Bonne chance.

As I was saying, this is just coincidence, it don't mean shee-it, as Mr. Natural say.

Then, I looked underneath the article on the Greek colony at the bottom of the page.
This is point zB.Stupid question.

I really don't drink much Guinness in the yard. Nothing like Java for yardwork prep.

Show you my coffee cup? OK.

Michele was a math teacher and hard worker. Sometimes I only have to supervise. Unless of course, it's termites, then I'm up in arms (well axes actually).

It's a thing I keep in the back of my head.
