Latest denier sci-fi joined this forum only to make 17 skeptic denier posts and is clearly not interested in climbing. Sounds like one of numerous denier shills who now roam the internet posting their nonscience. Some of the silliness claimed by sci-fi:
“Cosmic rays and solar activity ...apparently are the big changes, so please ignore AGW.
“Now it turns out that the deep oceans are not hiding any heat either.”
“There has been warming, yes. But a direct correlation with CO2 is flat out ridiculous.”

UTTER DEBUNKED NONSENSE

“One thing that we actually should worry about is the cold which is to come in the next few decades.”

T1 Troll. Now broadcasting all crap all the time.

     “Roy Spencer's blog says ....”

Don't make me laugh.

Ed, TCR and ECS is not the same thing so please dont pretend that the IPCC is using a sensible estimate. That is simply misleading.

maybe you should explain the difference, sci-fi

or are you just reblogging stuff... and forgive me for asking but, since you are an anonymous troll I have no way of finding out...

did you actually go to college? if you did what did you study?

I ask this because dealing with Sketch I found out he is insulted when I assume he knows something he doesn't (he calls it talking over his head), I assume that he had no training in statistics (at any level) so it's all over his head.

I'm still waiting for him to discuss the variability and it's consequence on his linear tend lines...
and the slightly more advanced discussion of accuracy of models... for which he apparently has no idea of what is being talked about.

Or are you the same sort as rick, who has no idea about mathematics, but has the self professed ability to read a complicated science paper chalk full of mathematical equations and somehow "intuit" the meaning, and then render a verdict... such skill from someone lacking college...

We don't need to ask about The Chief...

There it is. Unless you know and understand the science, you have no room in any discussion regarding this issue.

so you are saying that you should have room in the discussion because you do not know or understand the science?

I guess that is what I would expect from someone with your background...

Splater, do you honestly think that the solar activity does not influence Earth's climate?
That big burning fusion reactor in the sky may appear stable to you but even tiny fluctuation can have very big consequences on Earth.

Here is some recommended reading for you and please let me know if you still believe that the sun does not affect the climate after reading those:

Another point that alarmists ignore in all of their doom and gloom is that the biosphere actually thrives on CO2.

Monolith, showing hockeystick graphs is so last century. Nobody takes these Mann-made figures seriously anymore.

Please show some real data instead of that manipulated junk.

That is all they have ,Mono.

Yes ,no empirical proof ,say only 90%,OR,VERY LIKELY,just not good enough for the non denier up in the Whites.

You mean no serious denialist or no serious troll?

There is no point in attempting a discussion with someone who can't read a CO2 graph and simply denies reality. Solar insolation just isn't changing beyond the usual minor cycles. And cosmic invaders haven't suddenly started shooting us with more powerful cosmic rayguns.

Hey Chief,
you might actually learn something if you looked it up yourself,
instead of taking other people's time which you will just disregard anyway.
CO2 emissions are common knowledge and easily found.

Alarmists usually fall in one of two categories:
1) Group-thinkers who simply follow the heard
2) Fascists who do not tolerate opinons that deviate from theirs

We hear the 97% talking point over and over, but most dont realise that only the most extreme religious fanatics are not part of the 97%.
To be included you simply have to acknowledge that temperatures have changed during the past 50 years and that the there is a thing called the greenhouse effect. It does not say anything about the magnitude of these.

Anybody who claims that the climate science is settled does not have a clue about how science works.

Climate Science Is Not Settled
We are very far from the knowledge needed to make good climate policy, writes leading scientist Steven E. Koonin:

When you look it up,
be sure to check on
 different isotopes & signatures,
 natural CO2 cycle levels
 cumulative effects of human emissions
calculated totals of human emissions from the major sources.

I'm not going to do it for you,
since you have already demonstrated 500 times on this thread that you will disregard any science that doesn't reinforce your own opinion. If you will please go back over those hundreds of examples and admit where you were wrong, then you will demonstrate that you can be taken seriously.

Chief,
Good work, you should publish that. I knew that you were already smarter than all climate scientists combined.

Now Eddy, you aint going to hitch up the horse and head your wagon east before you get a chance to pay some california carbon taxes, are you? They have a word for people who advocate for something or another but dont practice it themselves or even think it applies to them. Now what would that word be? I know you know, and also know your mother would be sorely disappointed with this hypocritical behavior even more than uncivility on the internet.

And california where I'll be an undocumented unregistered democrat , but of course there are plenty of recently deceased and the just plain lazy that we just know would love to be a friggin liberal.

Oh, by the way Ed, I'm relieved to hear your not moving to D.C. to lobby for funding for AGW scientism funding. I mean you wouldn't be very good at it because after a total of 30, 000 + posts (over 10% of them yours) here ,there are more sceptucs sounding off than when you started. Not very convincing amigo.
