sci-fi, you have a reason to explain the Bond result?
so far, no one has... it's an old result, and a lot of work has been done in the meantime... part of that work showed that cosmic rays didn't enhance cloud production to any significant degree.
What's your mechanism?

do you have any idea what of the numbers is used in the plots you've copied?

Ed, TCR and ECS is not the same thing so please dont pretend that the IPCC is using a sensible estimate. That is simply misleading.
For anyone who actually want to read a bit about the most recent estimates I would recommend this link:

The point is that several independant groups are now arriving at an ECS which is in no way alarming.
It would be reasonable to call off the panic now and focus on the real problems, such as hunger, poverty and lack of education in large parts of the world.

Although I have read other abstracts and have read part of her "peer reviewed"works,this opinion takes the cake:

Actually, The Chief, the two graphs in your post just above do in fact jive just fine. If you look at the numbers on the axes, you see that, in the upper graph (mono's), a vertical line going up from about 1850 intersects the temperature anomaly curve at about -0.4 C, and the end of that same curve at just after 2000 is at a little bit higher than (+)0.4 C. Those are just about the same as the numbers in your lower curve. So, they jive pretty well. It's always confusing when the overall axes are very different lengths (like, different time periods).
Some good points, which I totally agreed with, in your post now a couple pages ago, like 9 AM or so. Others, I didn't agree with, but some of them are definitely right on the mark.
