perhaps some of y'all aren't familiar with these folks (they are a bit obscure at times)
as to tonality, I had to look it up and I still don't get it, but that's ok, you can still dance to it
Tonality is a musical system in which hierarchical pitch relationships are based around a tonic triad, and on hierarchical relationships between that central triad and the seven others in a key.

zb, yer links need some guidance.
These guys opened for Tedeschi Trucks Band last night. They never played anything this mellow, lots of talent. Mostly original music, but slipped Coltrane's "Naima" in the mix.

The Honeys did Pray for Surf (I wouldn't reconmmend it though, i.e. listening. Whether it works on the waves remains to be seen)
Now The Essex take is more like it. Think he could have made it without the straps?

I heard that PBS today played a documentary called ~Give Me the Banjo. The history of the banjo and bluegrass in the US. Narrated by Steve Martin and featuring some of the greats: Bill Monroe, Earl Scruggs, Bela Fleck, Pete and Mike Seeger....dang, sometimes wish i had a t.v....
