Katy, is that biking shot in Arizona? Looks familiar?

Eric, I skied Hiram Peak on June 12 and the snow was still good!!!
You may recognize the first chute south of Ebbetts, backed off last year because of the dirt.

mrtropy, good eye! Yes, that shot is from Phoenix, circa 2001. It's the Upper Waterfall on the National Trail, South Mountain park.

Ok, key the chorus, "It's a small world, after all..."

That shot was taken the day that kid face-planted, breaking his nose. The blood was still on the rock when I got there. I was riding with a group from MTBR and used to spend quite a bit of time on that site, until I discovered climbing. I went by "Lucky" in those days.

Hope you didn't damage too much with that face plant. Ouch!

Kathy,
Hard to spit up time between passions- Where I do most of my climbing there is good biking. I saved all my teeth but I cut clean through my lover face just below the lip. Had my brother stitch it up later that day. He was not going to home until later so I had time to put in a little climb before the he sewed me up

With daughters like that, you’ll need to look angrier.
