Man this one is bringing back some good memories from growing up. Haven't listened to this whole album since I was in Jr High. Many just know them for the Beds are Burning song, but they have some really great tunes. Happy Friday everyone, hope you all have a great weekend!!
Dirt, I just listened to that entire clip you shared... and you are right... WOW... memories, for sure! Great share!

I am beyond excited about the show, Kath! And the fact that it's on a Saturday... even better!
I am not sure why my cell photos turn out like that... totally accidental, and no use of filters at all.
My photographer friend, A.B., always tells me when I take photos of people with my phone, their skin looks like sandstone...like this one.

This is just a link to a bigger version of the picture. The house is in Seattle. It's the Sam Hill House and now I'm trying to figure out who in the Sam Hill Seattle Sam Hill is.

Samuel Hill (May 13, 1857—February 26, 1931),[1] usually known as Sam Hill, was a businessman, lawyer, railroad executive and advocate of good roads in the Pacific Northwest. He substantially influenced the region's economic development in the early 20th century.
His projects include the Peace Arch, a monument to 100 years of peace between the United States and Canada, on the border between Blaine, Washington and Surrey, British Columbia
And so in a very real sense he is still enjoying, or providing for the enjoyment of, life itself.
Interesting story from a man I had never heard of.
… a bronze vertical dial easily visible from street on the side of private home. Built in 1909, it is the oldest existing dial in Seattle. Motto: “I mark no hours not bright/Stedfast thru gloom I stand/Waiting till God command/To shine on me his light.”
Interesting sidenote that although it is easily visible from the street, I have yet to find a photo of it.

How could anybody hate leggs?
Beats the hell outta me! (ha!)
I am certain, however, that I drive my son ape sh#t at times... just for being SUCH a mom. I don't care if he IS nearly 21... I will always have my momma heart and a "mom look" that stops him in his tracks. :)

Anytime, ChickieChickie. . . you can stand out there with me and together we can marvel at the confounding reality that a private person is allowed to own something like this. I stand in awe of such a thing and take the responsibility seriously. . . and when the maintenance seems to outweigh the benefits, I just go out and sit atop OrcaRock and take a big, deep breath!
Kath... I had soothing dreams last night, and I think I may have been standing in that there meadow. What a wonderfully serene image.
