Can't eat yummy coconut due to braces.
Braces=Weight Loss
Half the food you eat gets stuck in them.
It's not worth eating cause it takes forever to clean up your mouth afterwards.
Eveyone should get braces....:DD (they come off June 23rd Yikes !)
EDIT: My dark horse, Blitzo, is looking good. :)

Way to go Blitzo. Just make sure you're down at least 5 on the 15 and all the way to 10 by the the weigh out on the 21st.
You can be the first one to get there but to be in the winners pool you have to STAY there for the weigh out.
Then again, you've been a winner before.... I'm not telling you anything you don't already know.
Hey Nature. If you were really serious you'd be in on this challenge vs. just blowing powder in our faces!!
xo, down-3-sooze!

I was serious about what I ate if that's what you meant. Though I did have some goji berries and cacao nibs as a snack. Plus a couple strawberries. I really don't have 10 lbs to lose. But maybe I'll drop three or four which seems to be the trend. 155 lbs would look good on me.
Blitzo isn't a dark horse. He's got a carrot, or in this case a lot of beer hanging in front of him off a stick. He'll keep running!

dinner last night was 12 pistacheos
bfast today was an apple
lunch = chicken breast and plain pasta
the tickle in my throat has turned into a full on cough/chest thing. spit up 1/2 lb of gunk already today. throws a damper on my plan to run off the weight.
will get on the scale tonight for my first weight check, but i feel trimmer already. chicks at work are checking me out.
our new kitten, who usually hisses at me, was purring as glided past her in the hallway this morning.
my wedding ring is sliding off with ease.
you guys are TOAST.

Hey salad, I've found that full on juice fasting (mainly carrot, beets n parsley) is the best for getting rid of any cold or flu. After about a week it get's rid of the excessive mucus. Do it with psylium seed husk (laxitive-cleanser) for best results. You'll feel like crap for a few days but then it gives you a lot of energy.
BUT... it's on the "extreme diets" list and will promptly disqualify you from the contest, right?

Hey Salad... I've found that doing nothing but green labels also makes most coughs/colds/flu disappear in a week. The human body... magic in a fleshy covering.
Skip the powders/enemas/farkle_berries..... drink the greenies and celebrate your renewed health in as little as 4 days!

12 pistachios for dinner certainly doesn't sound extreme to me.
It's just a matter of taking things seriously.

All kidding aside, what is the best way to lose weight quickly? Of course I'll eat much less and exercise. What's worked for you all?

Last night I stopped by the local mercado. It's a small Whole Foods type place without the Whole Foods pricing or hype. Besides, the lead singer for the local King Crimson cover band stocks the shelves there.
For those of you who don't know, I've got a bit of a sweet tooth. Not really cake, donuts or ice cream but candy. Zours, good & plenty, things like that. Yumm!!!
Anywhoo, in my trip to "Sprouts" i picked up a little sweet snack. A reward that's "kinda" good for you. They have a fruit and nut mix that's not to be beat. Cashews, peanuts, dried pineapple, cranberries, raisins and the best part...little tiny yogurt chips.
My theory was this little snack will keep the craving for sweets away. A small portion is doable and yummy. Needless to say both last night (and again tonight) I've consumed so much after work that I'll likely have to skip dinner to make up for the calories consumed.
I have no will power or limits. If I could learn portion control I'm sure I could eat almost anything.
God I suck. What's the matter with me? That and Russ is posting about green labels... how many more weeks?
