RRK:
Thanks again! It has to be really hard asking for news from Curt's family. Thank you for going the distance for us.

***More info from my latest conversation with Curt's mom...

Dirt is still heavily sedated and unable to talk well, but is recovering as well as can be expected. They are uncertain how long he will have to remain in intensive care. Evidently he has already requested his guitar, but the doctors are holding off till he can actually (physically) hold onto it. (lol) He'll be terrorizing the nurses soon enough.

Thanks to you all for bringing us the info. Know personally how difficult it is for family and friends when the one they love is in ICU. Continued Love and Prayers to Curt,

Thank you to everyone with the updates.

I was without a computer for the last couple of weeks but I swear that I could sense all the good ST vibes going in Dirt's direction on Tuesday.

I am so happy that things are going so much better than expected and that he has already requested his guitar.

My mom lived more than 6 years (with cancer) past the 6 months that she had originally been given. It's all about the quality of life.

Dirt, (When you're able to get online again) I hope that you're recovery goes smooth and maybe we'll all get to meet you at Face Lift next year.

hey there... say, just checking in to see how dirt is doing...

say, dirt... me, too---i'm still in your corner, rooting and prayers...

say---we could use some music right about now.... and your guitar's the one that will do it---and by your own hand...

keep getting well, and god bless... :)

*LATEST UPDATE*

Our boy is out of the ICU. He's still heavily drugged up, but evidently they've given him his phone back- I got a (totally incoherent) phone call yesterday. More dirt on Dirt later...

I got a (totally incoherent) phone call yesterday

Well, when he becomes coherent again, tell him how much we all miss him, and that everyone on ST is cheering for him.

Been following this thread. My buddy I learned to climb with fought off lymphoma. I'm one that never says things in a very pretty way so I'll just say my prayers are with you. Keep up the good fight and get back to the Taco asap. These people need you.

Edit: and we could use and update!
