Mine's a nickname given me by my beloved girlfriend. It's a contraction of "redneck" and "trainwreck". She's a little snarky, my girlfriend. But I like it so much that I use it for my domain name too.

I tried to enter my nickname, P-Mac, (short for Pierce McConnell) that I had since I was a baby on some site, don't remember which and it was taken. I was like, no way, I AM the original p-mac, hence the moniker.

I had arrived in Tuolumne by freight train and hitch hike. I was climbing with some climbers from Orange County. I was bullshitting about this and that and Steve Araiza gave me the name of HoboDan the man who's done everything

Savage-kizo or Highdessert DJ gave me mine on an El Cap route. I kept shortfixing and tangling up all the lines at every belay, so it evolved by about pitch seven or eight. I preffered dances on hooks because I am stupid and bounce around on hooks but that was to foo foo.

Saturday night, just back from a wedding. They all promise to stay together thru thick or thin, but I almost got up after the vows and said, "You better darn well mean it". Tired of the two year stand. Some only last 360 days!!!
To calm down, when I got home I got onto ST and started reading this thread.
Mind boggling! Tarbuster, now I see awhile back when I asked you why TB was your handle you said you weren't quite sure. I'm still not quite sure haha!
Nita, as always you are the best trying to educate this neophyte in the ways of the topo. Even tho I HATE labels I think I am somewhat memory challenged cause I will NEVER remember all this.
Of all the entry's Deuce 4 is the most enegmatic. How do you go from Middendorf to Dusseldorf (German cities) to Deucey to Deuce and you say you are from Australia. Puzzling!
Finally, I think most of you know this, and I don't want to be a downer on a weekend night, but Todd Gordon started a Thread for my husband on ST when he died. (THANK YOU Todd, it was awesome.) I had never heard of ST and wanted to log on to read all the great messages people wrote in.
So being the in step German I hate to be. When they asked for my name I gave it to them, as well as the city. DUHHH!
People have suggested I could contact Chris Mc and change my name. But, you know what? I like being real to all you great ST people. I got to meet a really neat guy at the Josh Reunion, George Z. We had some fun time discussing life around the fire pit. I told G.Z. what you see and hear is what you get. That's Lynne. OAO

I guess it's pretty late and I'm grasping at straws, so to speak, but what the heck is global survival in the military specifically?
I mean this with no disrespect. I just don't know what it means. Thanks for an answer. lrl

There's a company in Vancouver called SPUD = Small Potatoes Urban Delivery. You can order food on line from them, and they deliver it. Mostly good stuff.

Survival- Ah ha! And you thought my question was stupid. I've discovered a key area of the globe missing on your list, namely THE MALL! Still haven't learned how to survive a foray into one.(or Walmart for that matter)hahaha.
ps-had a pretty good idea what Global Survival is. Just wanted to see what you would say. Nice short list! lrl
