Russ used to be a machinist.

His employer once asked that he set himself up with a nice set of brass hammers.
In response he took an old chunk of metal, like a twisted piece of bicycle handlebar or something, wrapped it with some athletic tape and made do with that just to spite them.

He called it the “Mangler”….

I like the "before" and "after" of Mussy as Mechanic. First one, tools spewn all over, chaos reigns. The next, all tidy and shizz.

Of course, paralleling the rise from Camp 4 rugrat to Bastion of Society™

In the first MussyMechanic™ snapshot, even the SLIDE has grease on it!

I'm almost certain the unknown blond guy is Steve Amter, I knew him in Tucson in the mid 80's, he later moved to the DC area where I hear he still is. Grossman could confirm identity.

I'm not buying Watusi as LEB's lout, it just doesn't much sound like Mike.

I thought the blond guy was Steve Amter too. I know him from the Gunks in the mid 70's. He was at the Gunks reunion in October. Here he is in the far left of this photo at Rock and Snow for the Vulgarian panel. Hey Dick Cilley, I remember you from your visits to the Gunks.

I know what you mean, Off, but wondered if some of the humor we take for granted, could be interpreted in a different way by a chance encouneree?
