Have a blast!
We caught our limit of grouper and snapper over the weekend.
Sorry but I don't think they will last long enough to make it to the fest.

I just checked this thread for the 1st time; sorry I can't make it this year. I love the Voo, since it was my "home area" for 4 years (1968-1972)while at UW. Most of the major OW stuff was (thankfully) done after I departed the scene.
BITD, Fall Wall routes were the big deal, as was the so-called "5.11 Crack." Those were also the days of the horrendous RR Blue Boots and PA's, while some of the "crystal climbing specialists" wore Terray Mountain Boots for stiffness!
Oh well, maybe next time? Hopefully Ed H will make it then and we could rope up again?
But meanwhile, I'm making all my final preparations for my month in the Dolomites, leaving DIA on 18th of August

TL:DR version: We are half a mile down on 700e, can't miss us.
To find 700E if it's not on your map....when you get off the interstate and head towards Vedauwoo, instead of taking the left turn into the pay parking area, continue straight onto the dirt road. Drive past the parking lot for the Nautilus area on the left, and go straight for maybe 3/4 mile (a guess...it's a ways). You will pass a few little turn offs but 700E has a sign small reflective vertically oriented sign..it's the right side of a fork off the road (not a hard turn). There are lots of other 700 numbered roads so make sure it's E. It also has a little motorized vehicle access sign too.
We've set up the tent at the beginning of a large loopy circle and I cordoned off a nice site with room for plenty sleep with a sushifest sign.

Best day to climb and eat outside appears to be Saturday. Highs in the high 60s to low 70s all three days but the precipitation forecast is worth noting. Hopefully, the rain will hold off until the afternoon on Sunday.
Precipitation forecast:
Fri 40%
Sat 10%
Sun 50%
