Nightclub Dwight you have a few things wrong.

I never stood Frieh up for any climbs. I was away working at a remote site so couldn't get or return any emails from Frieh or anyone else for that matter. He had my phone number but never bothered to call. Our plan was to "get in touch" sometime in January. However he made other plans, using my photos and info he was spoon fed, at least a few month before Jan.

They were never dropped off on the "other side of the mountain" as you claim. They were landed on the Hawkins both times. The first time they were dropped off closer to University but so what? It's an easy ski to the West Face of Middle from there. I know because I've done it. It's certainly not a major undertaking as he claimed. For their second attempt they were dropped off directly below the South Face in the same spot we were. They never made any effort to even so much as recon the West Face.

I was with the last girlfriend for just short of a decade.

If you want some credibility use your real name instead of hiding behind a fake on while you spew your bs.

BTW Celeno peak was climbed two years ago without any fan fair, grant money, or other bs.

Finally I'm more then willing to answer any questions anyone has on this issue. I'm not hiding.

Aww hell JohnTp, you ask for too damn much. My spurious avatar is based on a character from the sublime songwriter Craig Finn's early work with his band Lifter-Puller, before his more known work with The Hold Steady, which John Kelley is clearly familiar with, since his route "Most People Are DJ's" is a reference to an early Hold Steady song. Nightclub Dwight is a clueless pansexual junkie club owner whose habits exceed his sense of caution, leading to his downfall. Taunting a violent stalker makes me resemble that character far more than I'm comfortable with. Do you understand how difficult it is to transcend that legacy and make a cogent non-profane post here? We're all captive to our online persona...

My whole point is that John Kelley has lied to you all about a range of things, which leads to the question of just where do the lies stop? All the Cali-Colo centric rock jocks have been swept up into a rush to judgement based on a dubious narrative from an unreliable narrator, not unlike Nightclub Dwight, a man whose reputation in his home town is scurrilous at best, whose online behavior is a homophobic stalkerish resume most would be ashamed to own, who has demonstrably lied to all ya'll, and clearly has an axe to grind that is all about personal vendetta rather than granfalloon notions about climbing "ethics". Don't take my dubious and mendacious word about it, do your own research and make your own conclusion, just don't snap up some rotten hunk of troll bait dragged in front of your lazy nose and expect to be respected for your "judgement".

So nightclub Dwight what exactly have I lied about? Be specific. Like I said I'll answer any questions anyone has on this subject. I haven't lied about anything.

Also like I said earlier there are two sure fire ways to prove what happened. The emails and the grant application. It's fine with me if either are posted. I have nothing to hide.

objectively speaking and in sum:

1. climber A gained grants that climber B had not applied for.
2. neither climber A, climber B, nor any other climber has climbed the face in question.
3. climber B is angry about the publicity climber A is bringing to a climbing area, but then starts multiple online campaigns that bring even more publicity to the area.
4. the only objective misappropriation is an unattributed photo that as far as i've seen has not been publicly published.

holy hell is this much ado about little. even by supertopo standards...

we need more chopped ropes and feces throwing if this is to go the distance.

similar to what i said in the thread that got deleted, i hope one of you badasses turns your fuel over what at this point appears to be a shitty situation for both parties, into a sweet climb and maybe a great tr that i get to read.

because to whomever the truth lies with: the best revenge is a life well lived.

but by all means feel free to carry on... the peanut gallery is always in need of fresh internet wanking based entertainment.
