LOL!!!!! Thanks guys!!!! Those manips are awesome and so is this thread!!!! The got me out of bed again today to sit on the commode!! It has been something I haven't had much luck with yet, so I was very glad to make what little progress I did. They are going to move me to another room today, which has made Sandra very stressed because she has gotten settled here, but we'll deal.
I'd hate to be the guy trying to sleep next to my snoring ass through that thin curtain!! ;)
Thanks again for all the wishes and the visitors have been positively amazing!!!

Had some more rad visitors today! Kyle, Nina, Aislinn, Luke and Kieran, and then Perry and Nadine showed up too! If was rad!!! Super fun afternoon of visitors! I got settled in new room and it seems like things should go smoothly here.

Hi Mike. I work with the folks on Blackcomb Patrol.. during the morning meetings they'll bring up recent big incidents that happen on the hill and inform on details of the crash, the nature of the injury,the extrication,etc. and especially the ongoing condition of the patient.
Your incident was brought up, and when I heard the name I knew right away who it was (I post up here and there but usually lurk around, but I still remembered)...
Anyway, our on-hill doc..we call him Dr. Shred..commented on how solid of a dude you were, being a climber,skier,local,etc. and you had a serious crash but because of who you are you will respond well to whats needed to get you rocking again.
I then had to mention that people call him Big Mike, and he has an online following that spans the continent, if not the world(!)so there should be a pile of good energy coming his way!
This was confirmed when I pulled up this thread tonight!!
So the folks on your local hill are hoping for a strong recovery for you...and so am I.

Glad all the hooligans made it down today! Too bad I was at work and missed the party. Looks like the thread has been hyjacked and is now a live TR! Sweet!
