Does happiegrllllll ever get off the computer long enough to lead above 5.3 or just spew endlessly online about new York and social commentary? Unless you live in ny, nj or ct, no one cares about ny.

who gives a sh#t how hard she climbs. she has 7 whole posts on this thread spread over multiple days. Riley has over 20 on this thread alone. why didn't you bag on him? Cause he climbs harder then you? What are you? A chickensh#t. Can only pick on girls. How about picking on me? I have been on the computer all day. I have 29 posts today.

I wonder who Other is. Probably one of the old B Team as#@&%es(who mostly climb quite hard, by the way).
Actually - I HAVE been on the computer pretty much all day for the last....many days. I knew when I left NY that I didn't have enough cash for gas to get to California, and that I would at some point have to hunker down and wait for the flow to return. It was longer than I expected, and though there were sales coming in throughout, I decided to keep the gas tank full and mosey around a region between Kentucky and Arkansas instead of run it out and be unable to continue while stopped in a small town in the western segment, and risk the possibility of being accused of vagrancy(and thus avoid a tooling).
I did a lot of work during this time, and yesterday finalized a contract for a nice(relative to what I usually come up with) contract for business consulting and administrative work. Plus, my monthly trust fund(not really, but it is passive income) payment became available. Phew!
I am still going to be online today for big segments, as I will be doing some work for this new client and my own businesses, and in between small tasks I cannot help but take a not-infrequent toke off the crack pipe of climbing discussion boards.
Tomorrow I will begin again in earnest, though I probably will still only average 3-4 hundred mile days. I'm lazy like that, and maybe that's why I don't lead as hard as I am supposed to, to be considered a viable climber by people like Other.
And Riley - I am sorry I have been bagging on you, but have to admit, you do seem angry a lot this last two years. Hoping that whatever is causing the stress which makes you see red can be dissipated soon. Living the world wearing rose-tinted glasses is much better for our health and the welfare of the world(that's not to say we should ignore injustices and phoniness).

This thread has turned into a classic piece of collaborative literature. Kudos to all who have contributed.
Cmac, This belongs in the next newsletter.
And someday "the best of Supertopo Forum."
By all means, continue to take it up to 1,000 posts.

I sort of believe a little righteous anger now and then is okay. Its when its a steady state, or when it gets mean that I think it becomes a problem.

Hey T! Glad you got your gear back, and that situation sucks for real. I'm nervous any time I stop anywhere in JT, even if my stuff is locked up. Bad situation.
Just so you don't get too riled, "Off Topic Marmot" appears on ST when a thread is getting too far off the posted thread topic. For instance, your topic was about the theft and recovery; then people chose to take it other ways with their personal axes to grind.
He's there as a humor device, and to remind people to please stay On Topic. Smile and love the Off Topic Marmot!
If you get up to Vegas any time, let's go climbing.
