+1 to what Jaybro has written.
Plus why argue with Fattrad when you know it's pointless? Seriously why bother engaging? There is no winning so ignore the silly man! I rarely visit those threads for a good reason.
when someone takes a dump in the pool, do you go swimming? Sorry for the crass description, but that is exactly what Fatty does on the political threads. Its pretty hard to ignore when it takes up so much of the thread. You may not like political discussions, but I do. There are a lot of intelligent people on this forum and I generally enjoy and am interested in hearing what they have to say. If he was behaving this way on the climbing threads he would have been out of here a long time ago and you would have led the charge. Especially if he had directed his hatred at you.
It is sad to me that so many people are willing to look the other way just because he is nice to them.
There have been quite a few good people who have given up on discussing anything to do with politics because of the stuff Fattrad posted. In my opinion that sucks.

i hate the religious and political threads. i do.
but i throw myself into them...
all political and religious threads shoud get an R-rating,
cause...
im scared as shite when i embark but

a little of myself, but that self aint destroyed
it is spread about humanity.

and neither can be created nor destroyed

that's my liberal stance:
earn your person. then share it with other persons.
hence we all grow. together.
donini if you completely avoid the politcal threads and
religious threads that plague this site,
then your lightbulb shall be dimmed,
down to about forty whats.
